AIBU?

to say this isn't enough?

I have a 15 month old dd and have found out that my exp (dd's dad) is
earning significantly more than he let on. He has effectively contributed less than 10% of his earnings to our dd and he has her less than 1 night a week (if worked out on a yearly basis).

AIBU to have stated that he needs to pay significantly more? (he is self employed and there seems to be a gap between what he is legally obligated to pay (still under what he is paying now) and what morally he should pay? All of my earnings go directly to our dd. He seems to think his sporadic payments are acceptable and whilst I have remained objective with other issues this has really got to me. With the impending tax credit cuts it is sickening that an absent father can contribute so little and get away with it Sad

I feel the same. Im a single mum to one child. His dad never sees him and does whatever he can to not pay for him. I struggle financially whereas his dad and dads new family live the life of luxury. The csa do their best but there is only so much they are allowed to do. Its the government that needs to do more. Absent, feckless, non paying parent shaming is what we need.

Thanks Reboot only seeing your post now. In the meantime i've had dd's dad coming to the door demanding to be taken off the birth certificate. Obtaining money from him is becoming like emotional blackmail, if i'm nice i have a shot at getting money, if i am rational I dont get a penny. The CSA can do so much but with him being self employed there is only so much that can be done.

I shudder to think of the money he has wittered away that could've been saved for our dd...
