Autocorrect doesn't seem to like poptart as one word though ... Maybe it's a sign wink

I bought some a few weeks ago, and they weren't as good as I remember sad

I'm glad I read this after going to tesco rather than before or I'd be eating a pop tart right now

OrangeSquashTallGlass Sat 18-Jul-15 17:31:42

Ooo I want one too now. What flavour would you get OP?

Pop tarts, like KFC, sound like a good idea but aren't.

Ewwww, too sweet for me, dd loves them though.

iklboo Sat 18-Jul-15 17:38:26

No!!! Just make a jam butty & stick it in the sandwich toaster.

YWBU to go to tesco and pay that much for them, you can get them in poundland now, the berry ones are especially nice smile

fastdaytears Sat 18-Jul-15 17:45:11

Do it! Brown Sugar and cinnamon or S'mores.

You can get stuff printed on pop tart boxes for special occasions. It's very American so it's all like "will you go to prom with me" but it's genuinely how I'd like to be proposed to.

fastdaytears Sat 18-Jul-15 17:45:38

Oh as long as the box actually contained PT and not just a stupid non-edible ring

TinyManticore Sat 18-Jul-15 17:47:01

I have never once tried a Pop Tart. Am I missing out, or should I continue to not try them? I assumed it would be like a biscuit with boiling hot jam in the middle.

bumbleymummy Sat 18-Jul-15 17:48:57

This happened to me the other day! I was walking past them and I got such a craving for them out of nowhere. I liked the strawberry ones with the white icing when I was a teenager/student. I would always toast them until they were slightly burnt. mmmmmmmmmm. So unhealthy and rubbish but YANBU

catlovingdoctor Sat 18-Jul-15 17:52:26

YANBU. Go for it! Yum yum!

gilmoregirl Sat 18-Jul-15 17:59:52

Ooh I love a pop tart smile watching Gilmore girls always makes me crave them so now have an emergency box hidden behind the cereal. They really have no nutritional value whatsoever though. Why can't Kelloggs at least fortify them with vitamins like all their other products? Would lessen the guilt..... I did once find some nurtigrain toaster pastries that were similar but not quite as hideously sugary.

It depends - do you have any children to swap for one?
