AIBU?

To go to bed now?

I am tired, have had a hectic couple of weeks, feel a bit meh, and DS is being a bit random with waking at night.

I've cleared up, tidied, ate with DS at tea time and have put away the washing. DH is out for a work thing.

Can I just go to bed?

Well of course you can - as in you are able and at liberty to do so - but you will be up at probably 1.30am!
I sleep so erratically I'd probably do it knowing I'd likely be up at 1am anyway - but you might be younger, fitter and less of a basket case than me Grin

Would you be leaving a toddler roaming the house unsupervised?
Invited the queen over for drinks?
No? Well get to bed you wally! Grin

I am in bed. I don't even have young children. My house is borderline tidy only. Wtf. Why not.

Of course YANBU. I frequently put DS to bed, then go straight to bed myself if DH is out.

Definitely go to bed and enjoy your sleep! I go to bed at this time with my twins every night only way I can get a decent stint of sleep! I'm not nice when I'm really tired!

I thought I was the only person who secretly went to bed early. Dp feels bad he's been out every night this week but I'm secretly delighted at having radio 4 iplayer in bed and over eight hours sleep.
Bliss.

Go.
I sometimes have evenings where I need to just abandon everything and go to bed at 7pm.
It'll do you good.
