Dh says it isn't uncommon, and not the hotels fault. However, we are all inclusive with Thomson, and I am EBF my 4mo DS. My other dcs are 8&6yrs. Since arriving on Su day we have all been down with D&V, me for the longest, giving me fear for my milk supply. Luckily baby seems to have avoided the virus and is continuing to thrive so must be getting milk out of me. So tonight, feeling better finally, we had a drink in the bar and got chatting to parents of kids the dcs were playing with. Everyone has had the d&v bug apparently, and the Thomson reps know this, and have had it too. When I spoke to them about it acouple hours about, and shared my concerns for my EBF baby milksupply issue, they couldn't have cared less. Now we have gone up to bed, my stomach is cramping again and I am lying in bed seething. They could have warned us at checkin and offered option to opt out of all-inc (it is an apart hotel anyway, easy to go SC). I cant use the Thomson complaint form on my.phone, the Reps dont care, and I want to go the fuck home before we all get ill again, but have to wait til Sunday. Massive waste of holiday budget. Aibu to think they should have told us on check in, so that we could have been refunded for all inc option and probably avoided the virus by eating out/SC?

tricky. Some guests having rv doesn't really = an outbreak so I can see why they didn't tell you but...I'd be pissed too

You wouldn't have got refunded there and then. Doubt there would've been room to move you either

Wouldn't need moving Tennis, all rooms are one or two bed apartments with kitchenette.

Thomson for ya. Where are you? (just to make sure I don't go Grin) Can you ask them to be moved to another Hotel?

Have you checked on Trip Advisor to see if other people have commented that they have had it and how far back it goes?

Get Thomson to document you have complained in resort, that's very important, and use a lawyer when you get back to get some compensation. There is a no-win no-fee holiday specialst law firm, they come up if you Google, they have successfully got compensation for people when hotels/cruise ships have been awash with stomach bugs.

YANBU they are such fuckers. The same thing happened to us in one of their 'top' hotels - we took them to court no win no fee and had all of our money back, still doesn't seem good enough considering the pain we all went through. The judge actually tried to find a loophole to get us our full compensation but I guess that's no win no fee for you. If you do want to go down that route make sure the rep takes a note of everything that has happened and go to see the dr if you have lasting issues when you get back. Hopefully you won't but unfortunately I had nausea lasting a month which I was prescribed some pretty awful tablets for.

Hope you're all feeling better and out of there soon Flowers
