DP and I take turns I get up every other morning because DS is usually up between 5 and 6am. I'm almost 15 weeks pregnant too so very tired. Someone in my street has had the grass cutters out at 7.15am FOUR TIMES in the last fortnight! It's been on my turn to lay in every single time and I'm sick of it! My grandfather passed away last night so we were up until very late and I need sleep so much that I just want to cry. How can your grass grow so much in 2 weeks that it needs doing 4 times?Confused. I feel like running out in my pyjamas when they start at 7.15 and shoving them where the sun don't shine!!Angry

Grass cutters? Like a lawn mower?

Seems a bit excessive and 7.15 is totally unreasonable. I wouldn't dream of doing anything noisy before 9am or after 7pm. Perhaps a polite note through the door asking them to wait until later might work?

I'm not even sure which house it's coming from to our a note through otherwise I would, we have one street in front of the house and one street down the side as we live on the corner. I don't know how they could possibly need to do it four times in 2 weeks though! It goes on for about 30 minutes but I'm wide awake after that so no chance of getting back to sleep, I'm so sick of it!

Sorry for your loss Flowers.
My next door neighbour mows his lawn every single day, at DD's nap time. If I move nap time he somehow knows!!

4 times in 2 weeks is not unreasonable at this time of year.

Doing it at 7.15 is.

Are you sure it is even the same house if you don't actually know where it is coming from?
YANBU btw, 7:15 is ridiculously early :/

Sorry for your loss Thanks

Are you sure someone's not doing DIY and its a power tool you're hearing?

Either way, 7.15am is too early.

Mowing your lawn twice a week is completely normal in the summer. 7.15 is not normal, unless your DS is so noisy they've been up since 5am!

Maybe it is something different to grass cutters but that's what it sounds like so just assumed it was. Whatever it is I'm sure they could start a bit later! I'm surprised no one has complained to them yet
