Or is this acceptable reason for NOT washing up?

Took the kids out earlier and DP was meant to do a few chores, the main one being a massive load of dishes we are poor and don't have a dishwasher

Got home 2.5 hours later and not one thing was washed up. The reason DP gave was that the neighbour was in her garden sunbathing and DP didn't want to look like he was perving.

Our kitchen window does overlook their garden but was this an acceptable excuse?

All excuses for not washing up are valid. I hate the job. grin

I think your DP was trying to be considerate, no doubt once the sun goes in he'll be right on it though?

You know, l think it might have been a valid excuse.
Men are quite warey of looking like they might be looking
If he does it now, you can forgive him grin

Oh I don't know....if your window directly overlooked her, I can understand his paranoia. Some people are very funny about being looked at...

I can understand him, I can also see how this might be a convenient excuse.

No blinds or curtains. Washing up still there although he's half heartedly throwing the hoover about.

I don't have a dishwasher either but I don't want one.

Misses point by s country mile.

YA so NBU what a ridiculous excuse! Is ndn still there? If not tell him 'its okay honey the scary sunbathing lady is gone now but the dishes are still there. Have at 'em dear'

If she is still there tell her to feck off indoors, it's after 6pm, sun's gone. Or, at least, too far gone to bathe in it. Or just tell lazy hubby to do them when she's gone. The dishes will wait. Dishes are great like that.
