AIBU?

To think I'm on here too much

But wondering what else to do.

I am pregnant. Very pregnant. I am so large and uncomfortable that moving is, well, uncomfortable.

I'm exhausted all the time. I have to have a nap for 2 hours in the afternoon. I don't know if this is ideal because I am more tired after it, somehow, but I feel I have to.

I have a one year old and any energy I might have goes on her.

I am being lazy. I sometimes frequently don't leave the house at all. But then I don't really speak to another adult.

I am seeing a friend tomorrow evening. That's the only adult conversation I will have in seven days.

I know it's a bit 'woe is me' but I am on here too much because MN is the only adult interaction I have.

So since it is - AIBU to ask for suggestions a 32 week pregnant woman can do with a toddler that don't, involve, well, AIBU!

Take your toddler into the street. Stand with her between your legs and scream, "OH SHIT THE BABY'S COMING!!"

Point at the nearest man, clutch your pregnant bump and scream, "YOU BASTARD. YOU TOLD ME I COULDN'T GET PREGNANT FROM A TOILET SEAT!"

Come back and let us know how it went Grin

I've been on here too much for years! And so has Worra!

Do you have a garden you could decamp to?

Yes but I just sit wherever I am Grin

I feel like a frigging beached whale. I just can't be arsed with anything. House messy and cluttered - cba. Garden overgrown and weedy - cba. Child living on banana sandwiches and apples - cba.

Meanwhile Pinterest is full of recipes I'll never make, clean, homely, cosy houses I'll never aspire to and beautiful landscaped gardens I'll never own

Hmm Grin

You've just described me except I'm not pregnant Confused

We're moving soon so earlier I got a bunch of moving boxes and made them into a big tunnel filled with cushions for dc to crawl through. Got me off mn for 10 mins and kept the kids entertained for an hour which I spent on here

The second I found out I was pregnant I felt drawn to MN fiveacres Grin

Now I'm on here every day D:

I rarely talk to others during to day working at home, its very boring here and MN is a continuous reminder that I'm not insane...

Good Luck with upcoming arrival- let us know how it goes! :D

Oh yanbu!

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I think I'm going to pop. so obviously I have to sit all day long to ensure that I don't Grin

today I've had an outing.. midwife appointment at 9.30am. had a conversation with her about the blood pressure cuffs and wether she knew if one had actually exploded before Grin it was squeezing me so hard I had pins and needles in my hand and I was convinced it would burst.

I came home and popped to b&q with DH. It hurt like hell. baby isn't engaged so feels like she's bungee jumping when i walk. went to McDonald's drive thru for us and 2 dcs (1&2 years) who then decided on the way home to get travel sickness at the same time! had to empty the happy meal boxes into a bag and hold them under their faces. not easy. came home and it's ROASTING. I feel like im going to die so I'm sat down again Grin

it's been an exciting day today. not I want to go to bed.

Oh YANBU - no suggestions from me as I'm becoming more and more obsessed with mumsnet recently and definitely wasting my life away by the looks of things

Same here, due July 2nd and have a 2 year old, just blobbing round the house and on mumsnet more than I am happy to admit.

Son is also living on anything I can throw together in a few minutes. Hard work isn't it? I'd love a nap but I accidentally dropped off a few days ago and was very rudely awakened by my son hitting me full force in the face with a daddy pig weeble Angry

Got someone coming to value the house in half an hour and it's an absolute hovel

Report
Royalsighness · 05/06/2015 15:55

I just let him draw on my legs now because I atleast he is occupied and I can sit still for a bit longer

My house is disgusting Blush I need a cleaner but can't justify the expense. Besides, it's mess rather than dirt.

As sad as it sounds, I feel that unsightly and minging that I worry if I let a cleaner in, she is sure to steal my husband. Grin

I don't have one - husband that is! - but I am worried a cleaner would march back out in disgust! Grin
