Quite depressing she thinks so little of him.

just talking on twitter and Noddy pointed out her need to people please and diminish her own success might stem from her absent mother,.

very sad

Plus what kind of Remote control etiquette role model for her kids?

OMFG I'm cringing here, hoping she's written that pile of shit because she's got nothing to do since Big Brother got sold to Channel 5....

The television presenter, who is half French, admitted that like French women, she “always” wears a matching bra and knickers and keeps a careful eye on her figure.

“You must keep your husband satisfied in the bedroom department,” she added, “even if you’re absolutely exhausted. Otherwise he will go somewhere else.”

Sorry, I couldn't read past that ^^ pile of toss.

She's got form for this. I'm pretty sure I read an interview where she stated that her husband was in control of the remote control because her fame did not intrude on family and life and he was the man and never call him Mr McCall. Something like that.

If it works for her I guess.

Have they pulled some of those quotes out of context? Being generous.

I can't imagine she really thinks her husband of 16 years and father of her 3 children who she is "very romantic" with would start shagging someone else at the first sight of "plain" underwear or if she was ill and didn't fancy sex for a few weeks Confused

Messages like this are awful aren't they. That works for her / them, OK. But it's presented to everyone reading as a "truth" - wear sexy undies and never say no or he will fuck someone else.

It feeds into this whole men want it with anyone all the time and women need to give it to them / or not to keep their interest. Pretty grim view of relationships.

One look at the relationship board will tell you that what she says is a load of bollocks.
So many women say that their sex life was absolutely fine, and their husbands still had affairs.
because they were assholes, not because their wives forgot to wear a matching bra and knicker set!Confused

"Matthew has strong views on underwear."

Well Matthew sounds a bit weird doesn't he?

How depressing that she doesn't feel secure in his love for her as a constantly evolving human being.

It's all a bit 1970s Jerry Hall isn't it... and we all know how that turned out.

I feel a bit sorry for her dh. Her assumption that he'll go elsewhere unless she keeps him happy doesn't reflect well on him.

Dos I held off from mentioning the AM because WTF do I know, but I think it really had an effect on her. She does seem to strive for perfection where family life is concerned but she's probably not alone in that.

123Jump not to mention all the women who have higher sex drives than their partners.

It's all a load of retrograde balls.

What if she became ill? The bit about keeping your DH satisfied even if you're exhausted is pretty worrying.

Her mother was absent in so many ways even when she was there. As a child you question everything you do in order to win these people over. As an adult you don't just stop and can't believe you don't need to do 'stuff' to be loved The more other women she encourages down her road the more she can normalise and justify it like Look we are all in matching undies its normal and not a compromise. davina knows what she is doing but she is still in the middle of it. She is an addict and this compulsion is written all over her she has replaced drugs and alcohol with exercise beacuase while she is consumed with her latest 'thing' she doesn't have to look at the real problem Sorry for the essay but I feel for her and could cry at the though of her trussed up in matching underwear and blaming her poor dh who is nothing to do with it

This also smacks of all those pathetic interviews that young women feel they have to do in those horrible 'bloke mags'.

Oh, I went to an all girl school,we all showered together,it was wonderful.I love kissing women although I'm hetero, type comments.

It just seems to be playing up to some image of what the media thinks a woman should be like.
Pretty bloody sad actually.

Yes I was wondering about that. It's almost as though she's giving him the go-ahead to shag someone else because she's 'not up to it'.

Mind you she's a smart cookie when it comes to courting media attention. I'm hoping this is a pile of controversial old bollocks just to get her name back in the news.

She's not been doing much lately and Emma Willis' BB popularity must sting a little bit.

So what other top tips does she have? Perhaps training him to put away the shopping by clever placement of dog biscuits and Pirelli calendars?

Very sad. And grim.

If he only wants to have sex with her because of "the wrapping paper" the marriage must have issues.

Mousefinkle · 31/05/2015 13:12

Oh of course every man that cheats on his partner is doing it because she doesn't wear nice enough underwear for him! Of course... Hmm.

Utter lunacy and a great big insult to anyone who has ever been cheated on.

I see they renewed their wedding vows recently www.ok.co.uk/celebrity-news/davina-mccall-husband-matt-renew-their-wedding-vows

that always screams infidelity to me, as does women telling other women they have to keep their men happy if they don't want to be dumped

poor Davina Sad

Ffs, what an absolute load of fucking shit-gives me the rage. People cheat because they are fuckwits not because they have a partner that doesn't wear sexy undies or put out whenever they fancy.

No,no,you've got it wrong. Their marriage was perfect, they renewed their vows because they are so in love.Do you see?“
“Often people renew their vows because they’re on the verge of divorce,” she said. “But it wasn’t like that. We are very romantic.”
Hmm
