To think Whiskas are phasing out tinned cat food

The pouches are overpriced and my cat gets through about 8 a day! My cat also hates supermarket own cat food and the tinned fish stuff. Will only reliably eat Whiskas poultry in jelly (tins) and its increasingly hard to get. Any one else noticed?

8 a day seems a lot. Are you sure you're not over feeding him?

Sorry should have said cats (plural)

Ah cats - I see!
It's tricky when they are fussy.
Can you order the tins online and start stockpiling?!

MrsNextDoor Wed 20-May-15 21:53:30

Is your cat overweight!? Mine eats around 3 pouches and a bit of dry! He's a big Siamese too!

MrsNextDoor Wed 20-May-15 21:54:21

Oh cats!

I don't there another tinned brand they like?

londonrach Wed 20-May-15 21:55:21

If your cat isnt overweight id take her to vet to check for worms or other problems.

This is madness. Cat food in tins is the only thing that keeps them subservient. Once the tins are gone, we're doomed!

Allstoppedup Wed 20-May-15 21:57:13

We get the big packs of whiskers from pets at home.

I've not had an issue getting tins there.

Agree the pouches are rubbish, expensive and small!

I wish canned cat food would be struck off the face of the earth!
Sorry. I know l am being irrational.
Have you tried lily's?
Very natural, a bit more expensive... But perhaps more filling.
They have it in waitrose and Amazon.

Gosh. Your pussy has a lot of pouches.

Have you tried farm foods? They do cases of the stuff in there.
