Without even trying I usually eat 10+ portions a day, I just can't think how anyone doesn't have at least 5 a day.

Today ive had
oats with kiwi and banana
Apple to snack
Chicken pasta with tomatoes, courgette, onion garlic peppers mushrooms (3 portions at least)
Greek salad tomatoes, cucumber, avocado Basil red onion

And now currently snacking on carrots and humous

LaurieFairyCake Fri 15-May-15 20:24:32

Because it's very expensive

10 times as much as a packet of custard creams

I manage it but only because I'm on slimming world and its all veg and fruit

HangingInAGruffaloStance Fri 15-May-15 20:25:26

Hope that biscuit is made of dried fruit or courgette shavings..

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather Fri 15-May-15 20:25:59

Wine is made of grapes, I also don't know how people don't have their 5 a day! A whole bottle must do it.

KaputKiss Fri 15-May-15 20:26:04

I just prefer chocolate more! wink

TheJiminyConjecture Fri 15-May-15 20:26:35

Just think if you were a contractor you'd be eating strawberries and blueberries...

I think most peoples diet will go:

Toast or cereal for breakfast
Biscuit mid morning
Sandwich for lunch
Could be fish and chips, or a burger, or a kebab for dinner.
Cheese and crackers for supper.

Very easy to NOT get your 5 a day.

HicDraconis Fri 15-May-15 20:27:18

Protein only day for me, so I'll score a large 0 on the fruit & veg front. I am bothered by this not in the slightest. Unless the wine counts as grape salad?

Bambambini Fri 15-May-15 20:27:52

You've led a really sheltered life, haven't you?

ThursdayLast Fri 15-May-15 20:28:16

Is today usual though?

Don't you have days where you have a bacon sarnie for lunch? Or days when you haven't just been to the shops and you've eaten all the fresh stuff out the fridge?

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather Fri 15-May-15 20:28:21

It does indeed Hic.

Sorry yes I did mean to say unless money is difficult.

Mel I don't think anyone could live off a diet like that for long, I'd feel terrible on one day of that!

IgnoreMeEveryOtherReindeerDoes Fri 15-May-15 20:28:49

Do you look up at the sky whilst you are wondering with your head tilted?

owlborn Fri 15-May-15 20:29:13

Today I had boiled rice and pork chops for lunch. And that's been it.

I was going to cook veg stir fry but now I rebelliously fancy cake.

underpaidworker Fri 15-May-15 20:29:49

I'm hardly boasting about having oats and a Greek salad and snacking on fruit. Maybe someone else could share their day in food?

stevienickstophat Fri 15-May-15 20:30:38

I started well with blueberries and raspberries for breakfast.
Had an apple and a satsuma mid-morning.
Then it all went tits up and I ate eight custard creams.
After that it seemed silly to try and drag it back, so I had a burger, a fried egg and five hash browns for tea, followed by a bag of crunchie rocks and a pint of cider.

Do I win anything?
