To think that Bt are an awful company

Signed up with BT three months ago as we moved house.

We were eligible for the Saisburys gift card deal and I was assured I would receive it within 45 working days of start of contract.

Three months later I have still not received the gift card. I have phoned, emailed and tweeted and they make promise after promise to resolve the complaint.
Last promise was resolution toady. Tweeted them as no contact from them. Asked to fill in another compliant form which I did and magically somebody actually phones me.
Told another ten working days before they will contact me again. I expressed how unhappy I was and that I did not want to wait another ten working day so be told I am being unreasonable???

Is this normal for BT or am I just being unlucky?

I've dealt with BT both professionally and personally for years, and they've given me no end of grief. I'm looking into moving later this year and definitely won't be taking any services from them, regardless of how good an offer they present.

Might be a daft question but have you filled in the claim form for the gift card?? It doesn't automatically get sent after your order..

They are rubbish, had nothing but trouble with them when trying to upgrade to fibre optic. I wouldn't go near them again

Yes, claim form all completed in March band accepted in March. Told in March it would be delivered in 45 working days.

Been given the run around since. Lots of promises made to me but still no resolution. Been passed around and around with each person I speak to blaming the person before them. Nightmare.

This exact thing happened to us. DH says he e-mailed them to ask where it was, and they sent it pretty sharpish after that!

They're pretty rubbish though. I had to call them every day for a week because they changed our number when it went from our landlord's account to ours, even though they said we could keep it. They charged us for it too! The problem I found was that you tell one person something but it doesn't get passed on.
