Watching him on the Grammys and he is fab. Anyone who says he is boring etc is crazy. He's got a beautiful voice!

God I saw him live last year. Sooooo boring however I was incredibly pissed and in the mood to party

He seems to sort of whine and wail. It's like he can't be bothered to open his mouth properly.

I think he must be related to Bernard Bresslaw.

His voice is amazing!

But I find him the least sexy man ever.

DH says he wouldn't fancy me, either! Grin

Hes more likely to fancy your DH to be honest.

Never heard him sing live but I think he has a lovely voice.

Oooh, meant to add - if you want to hear a really nasal singer then you need to hear John Newman sing live. It's actually painful Sad

I must be crazy. He's whiney, strained sounding and so bloody boring. I though he was designed for teenage girls who like to hear an emooshinul dude.

I though he was designed for teenage girls who like to hear an emooshinul dude. You do know he's openly gay and wrote his album about a break up with a guy, right??

He's a bit beige for my tastes.

His voice gives me tingles, always gets the volume up in my car!

I think he has an alright voice but can't bear any of his songs! They all sound so whiney & so depressing. If any of his songs come on the radio, I have to switch it off.

I quite like his songs, but cannot abide his voice. Sorry. Shoot me now!

Don't like him at all. James Blunt should have won his awards! Grin

I like his songs and his voice.

He's not whiney and depressing - that's James Blunt ;)

I can't bear him. That's unfair, I don't know him.
I can't bear his whiny voice or his needy songs.

UnalignedAnt · 12/02/2015 13:05

He's so bland! Plus one of his songs was done for plagiarising Tom Petty, so I'll toss derivative in too.

Report
molyholy · 12/02/2015 13:18

Yes - Stay with me and slowed down version of Won't back down by Tom Petty. So not only is he boring and whiney, you can also throw unoriginal into the mix

Report
kerstina · 12/02/2015 13:19

Yes Bland is the word!!! Just don't get the adulation.

I think he's great! Love his album and he also comes across as really humble and modest in interviews. He's not out to be attractive or needing to take his top off to get fans, as a lot of young male stars (Justin Bieber!) do.

He admitted that he'd never heard the Tom Petty song but that it did sound like it so they have split all of the royalties. You can complain about that!

He's okay.... for some reason his music doesn't really move me. But it's enjoyable enough. Sia is my cup of tea at the moment. I love the craziness.

Her voice is amazing. I could watch the video for Chandelier over again, it's so haunting.
