To be annoyed re my delivery from Dunelm Mill.

AIBU to send this email to Dunelm Mill,
Hello, I ordered the Toulouse Black Dressing Table and Stool online from you on the 24th January my order no is xxxxxx
I am becoming exasperated re your delivery sevice. I had a phone call from you stating it would be delivered on the 6th of Feb. No delivery was made despite the fact I stayed in the house all day. I have had no further communication from you. I called on the 6th in the evening and was told it was on the Isle of wight but you do not know the courier for here. So I rang again today to be told the same thing I was given a phone number for your mainland courier company only to be told it was the wrong number. I have tried your store on the Isle of Wight who promised to get back to me asap but no phone call again. As you can imagine I am not happy with your customer service,please can you resolve this matter for me. Regards Lollilou.

YANBU and at this stage I would be tweeting them and posting on their Facebook page. Companies seem to respond to shoddy service when you make it public knowledge and might potentially damage their image Hmm

I really wouldn't hold your breath! I've had this with dunelm before. only ordered from them once. never again!
I waited in the first day it was definitely coming, and then again and then again..Nothing ever arrived.
I chased and chased and chased and about three weeks later they admitted that even though my order had apparently been out for delivery, it had never actually been in stock. Some of the items were presents. I'll never order from them again!

Okay so one phone call from Dunelm on Wedsnesday eve promising they are looking into it, nothing since. What should I do next? Post the above email on Facebook? Or something else? I don't really understand Twitter. I just want my dds dressing table!

I once placed an order with Dunelm for an item - pair of pillows, I think - that was supposedly in stock. It took 2 months & 5 or 6 'phone calls before I got them. I had numerous people promising to look into the matter, all very apologetic & pleasant, but nobody seemed capable of sorting the matter out.

Insisted on speaking to a manager in the end & got the bloody pillows free of charge, but would never, ever deal with them again.

Another one here that has had nothing but trouble with them. I had to chase and chase my order with them for over a month earlier this year, and then when it did finally did arrive the order was totally wrong.
I've ordered from them several times in the past and the order has never arrived smoothly with no problems. I won't be using them again.

delivered my sis a bed frame and bedroom furniture. she had to wait about 2 weeks from ordering for the delivery date. when it came there was no matress as it was coming seperate. . another 2 weeks have passed still no matress. she is beyond furious!
