To kick my dh for snoring!!

I'm ashamed to say I do kick him sometimes if he's snoring very loudly.

Ah I used to do this until he was banished into the spare room. He's been sleeping there for about 2 months now. Absolute bliss. I can can vaguely hear him snoring now....

Kicking doesn't help btw. Neither does sighing loudly, caressing their cheeks (facial), holding their noses, pushing their noses upwards, grabbing their balls....honestly I tried everything. I'm never sleeping in the same room as him again.

He's a tad quieter now but it's still constant.

Poking or moving in some way does seem to help.

I frequently kick DH. This evening he's outdone himself: not only did he try it on when I was fully asleep (I think he wasn't really awake), when I shrugged him off he made such a noise turning over he woke dd(5 months) up. Now I'm sat feeding her and he's snoring. Ffs.

Poking them only helps for a few minutes. Then it slowly starts up again.

Someone needs to invent a soundproof sphere or something that snorers can wear to bed.

YANBU. More times than not I'M the one banished to the guest room. I hate it, but I'd feel awful waking Dh up every night and making him go in there because he snores.

However it rankles when I'm extremely tired, Know he's going to snore and just go there first off, and have him say dejectedly, "Huh...OK". Like that I enjoy having to sleep separately most of the time. Believe me, I don't! But really what do you want me to do? Wake up every 2 minutes if I even get to sleep at all?!

OMG ! This reminds me of when I recently went away with a friend for 3 nights. She snored like a trooper - she was mortified. I feel your pain :-). I must get to bed now!

Another one here with a DH in separate room! I wear ear plugs and have the door closed and I can still fucking hear him.

I don't kick my dh though it is tempting to fucking smother him I make him turn on to his left side. I read somewhere that this can help and it will usually give me enough respite to fall asleep in.

I slept on the sofa last night to get away from him. Had a headache, so less snoring tolerance than usual. If he rolls onto his back (worst position) I give him a good shove & shout "shut up!"

He snores, if I'm not asleep before him I don't get to sleep unless I'm in a different room. I suffer from a sever case of misophonia and someone snoring rhythmically next to me drives me to tears, it's right up there with teeth grinding and constant throat clearing.

Had a terrible life with my snoring ex. Grandson just told me a funny story. He had to sleep in their room once and got four hours sleep because of all the snoring.

Apparently the OW was worse than his grandad and grandad ( my ex) was often kept awake by her.
