New haircut. AIBU?!

Ok so, DP just got home and he's had his hair cut (which I knew about) but it's AWFUL*. Short on the back and sides (I'm talking like number 2 setting) then 1inch-ish long on the top. It looks bloody ridiculous and I hate it... AIBU?

You're not unreasonable to not like it, you can't help that. But you would be unreasonable to make him not cut it like that again.

As to the question of whether to tell him that's the tricky one.

I'd probably be diplomatic and suggest I thought another style suited him more. But very carefully.

It doesn't sound great but was he actually going for that look. Hair will grow back but if he is intent on keeping that style then maybe say something?

I know I'll get used to it... The thing is, he was with his mum both times he's had it cut like this... So wondering if it's HER choice instead of his? I mean she's nice... But he's a proper mums boy so who knows... Especially after saying he didn't want it cut like that just a few nights ago
