AIBU?

To not care that my cat craps in neighbours gardens

I have cats.

They go outside (as they should).

They probably shit I the neighbours garden but mostly they seem to shit in our garden.

I suspect they kill small furry animals too and I know they do as well as birds

As do lions, tigers, lynxes, snow leopards, blah blah.

I don't approve of "indoor" cats.

I kind of agree about cats being able to go outside, but it annoys me when other people's cats crap in my garden. But I don't have any pets due to living in a town and thinking it would be unfair on them to not have much space, so what do I know?

I was okay with cats until I mowed my lawn with a flymo and ended up with my legs pebble dashed in cat shit Angry

It is this attitude that makes people hate cats and their owners.
If my neighbour was imposing on me this way I would be slinging the shit back over their fence.

I concur... but we live in countryside so mostly ours shit in the woods, lol.

I am sure your neighbours are incredibly happy you disagree with indoor cats

I wouldn't mind if they crapped in the soil and buried it. But they don't. And my son can't play in his digging patch because it's full of cat crap.

So I care, and you would care if you were cat free, but still had to deal with cat crap.

I'll just bet you don't care Hmm. Why should you? Less stinking shit for you to clean up. Let someone else do it (or someone else's kids step in the fucking stuff playing in their own gardens).

I thought it was bears that shat in the woods?

Unless you live in a wilderness area the habits of wild / big cats aren't relevant to your case!

Would you still not care if your pregnant neighbour got toxoplasmosis from your cats faeces...or would that be her problem?

Report
bubalou · 17/01/2015 21:15

It's really rude not to care.

I understand there isn't much you can do but to say you don't care? What if they have kids?

What if I let my dog into your back garden to shit. Would that be acceptable? Confused

This is why I hate cats and cat people.

Do you think their shit is less offensive than dogs - would you like my dog to crap in your garden?

Hi cat neighbour, presumably you don't care if I chuck any cat crap on my back door step over to you then?

Report
Salmotrutta · 17/01/2015 21:16

Yeah.

I'm really rude.

My cat shits in a litter tray that's in the kitchen.

How do you like that...

My dog's had many a happy hour chasing the bastarding things from my flowerbeds.

They might be a moggy or five missing in action, but I don't care.

I never let my dogs crap in my garden so I don't see why I should put up with digging up cat crap in my garden either.

I don't agree with indoor cats either.

DH hates cats so we'll never have one anyway.
