If it would be, please ignore this.

If not, here it is. www.cmsolicitors.co.uk

Plenty of contact details too. :-)

www.webapplicationsuk.com

They "maintain that employability where legal is a basic human right"

They told me that on Twitter.

"maintain that employability where legal is a basic human right"

I think they said "employ-ability" which makes it an even worse sentence...

Employability is someone's ability to do a job, it's not a basic human right!

I'm waiting to see if there's a statement from OAFC today, if not I will start contacting sponsors

This company also makes a fortune from handling all of Oldham FC's legal matters...

I'd like to fill in the enquiry form but I can't word it. Something along the lines of "ensuring that children are not faced with role models who refuse to acknowledge the crime they are convicted of and the damage their behaviour did to their victim should be a basic human action in a civilised society" but better :-D (surely the protection of the many outweighs the rights of the one??)

Can anyone help me?

Someone on the other thread days that Web Applications UK has a contract with OAFC to go into Oldham schools to teach computer coding to children. Hmm

Sorry, but that is an utterly stupid statement to make.

On the other hand, CM is rather an odd firm. This is the firm which, back in the summer, got a lot of publicity about the fact that they were acting for someone who intended to sue the solicitors who had acted for him in litigation arising out of MMR. It was obvious that it was a hopeless case - in essence it boiled down to saying they shouldn't have done what he asked in investigating whether he had a claim which ultimately turned out to be non-viable - and in fact it appears they have never done anything about issuing proceedings. The firm concerned has subsequently recovered libel damages from papers repeating the allegation incautiously.

So they seem to like publicity and should probably think about the disadvantages of adverse publicity.

Sounds like they may need to be handled with caution.

Are we going to continue on this one?
There is another petition calling for the FA to put sanctions in place for those convicted of crimes of sexual violence.
