Mini chicken fillets rather than chicken nuggets.

I have had 16 solid bloody tiring irrational autistic years of this. It is tedious.

and I can't even dull it with Wine as it is January.

Aside from going STRAIGHT TO HELL (do not collect £200 when you go past GO etc etc) I'm sure it will be fine...

snarky comments done with, could you perhaps cook some as an extra and ask the person to try one? or throw one in the mix and see how they react?

I got into trouble for not getting his socks out of his drawer but for daring to take his school shoes off the rack and putting my the door for him. Even though he moans on other days that I havnt got his shoes out.
I think it's the Inconsistancy that gets me, the rules change on a daily basis without the memo to let me know!

It's been a difficult day. We've sorted out the chest of drawers and actually Thrown Stuff Away! (The age 3-4 pyjama shorts had to stay though).

Anyway. The wrong sort of chicken was eaten with a gouda slice and wrapped in a chipatti. And nothing was broken. Phew.

Yay! Well done Round
(Paddington Bear curtains that came down at 14 are still in the loft and checked on at regular intervals by almost 20 year old)!

If your DC is literally autistic then you will probably know that routine is probably the cornerstone of his / her life so YAB a little bit U.

If you are using the word 'autistic' flippantly then no YANBU, and if they complain, eat the food yourself and tell them to fix their own effing dinner and tidy up the kitchen when they're done!

YANBU, even if he/she is autistic, I should imagine it's exhausting. If you can't have Winehave a chamomile tea. Flowers

Do you live with somebody autistic? Obviously, those of us that do are aware, but occasionally, due to being overtired, stressed etc. we may make a mistake. It's incredibly frustrating for everyone concerned when this happens, particularly when you are aware that somebody else would have eaten what you've produced. We allow for mistakes and try to offer help, support and a little understanding.

If it's any consolation, I have one of 19 who will try more or less anything, these days. Other than meat!
