AIBU?

To leave my twinkly outdoor lights up all winter?

Bought new lights this year - little led blue, red and green battery operated lights that automatically go on and off. I fancy leaving them up at least as long as the dark nights. AIBU?

I take mine down in winter, because I worry that the frost / heavy rain etc may damage them.

I leave white tree lights up all winter but take coloured Christmas ones down.

Leave them up as long as you like, I love twinkly, glowy lights.

I have indoor that I have all year, battery operated ones that I keep in glass bowls and others draped along the window frames.

I have twinkly lights around a garden gazebo that are permanent and the same ones in the conservatory. They're up all year long. I love them when the nights get dark so early.

YANBU. We leave ours up all year long, and switch them on for events like birthdays, summer parties etc.

Great to have people agreeing. They are these ones that come on and switch off automatically based on the first time you use them. Will need to work out how to have them on later and off in summer as not dark until so late. Thanks Grin

I left my red-berry wreath on the front door all year. I got fond of it.
