go on. it'll put some colour in your cheeks and stop you from punching MIL/DH/dog/totalstrangersofftheinternets

<goes off whistling to find stout boots and scarf in jolly Julie Andrews type manner>

MuddhaOfSuburbia Sat 27-Dec-14 12:26:49

I am trying really hard to prevent my dd's from playing in the snow as we have no boiler so they cant get dry or warm afterwards sad noramlly I would totally agree with you though.

FlipFlippingFlippers Sat 27-Dec-14 12:27:16

Been and done. Almost fell on my arse because of the ice.

spinduchess Sat 27-Dec-14 12:27:33

But it's cold

ElizabethHoover Sat 27-Dec-14 12:28:03

MuddhaOfSuburbia Sat 27-Dec-14 12:28:18

ditavonteesed Sat 27-Dec-14 12:28:30

on the subject of your second post, dd drank a load of j2o glitterberry yesterday and I have asked for a report as to the sprklyness of her poo today.

FunkyBoldRibena Sat 27-Dec-14 12:29:07

I went for a walk ALREADY on Christmas morning, and dug up my parnsips.

We are off out in half an hour for two hours of sawing and lopping back some hedges.

AnyFucker Sat 27-Dec-14 12:29:21

How rude !

I have been up Scafell Pike already this morning. What more do you expect ?

gaggiagirl Sat 27-Dec-14 12:30:15

I'm going out to buy some day-glo orange frozen sweet and sour sauce soon.

Beat that.

GotToBeInItToWinIt Sat 27-Dec-14 12:32:12

Great advice, I'm getting irrationally pissed off with posters seemingly inventing dramatic situations in order to worry the OP. Laptop (well phone) is being switched off and I'm off to talk to relatively sane RL people!

MuttersDarkly Sat 27-Dec-14 12:32:20

In the snow ?

Not a chance.

am already feeling shivery cos my (beloved) iPad just died (refuses to charge, no matter what fix I try).

Without this place to distract me I'll give in to iPad Loss Despair.

I don't like the new ones with their wonky IOS 8.

I like my nice chunky iPad 2.

<loses self in very distracting threads and refuses to think about iPadlessness>

until DS demands his back and then it will hit like a ton of bricks. in which case I will be forced off mumsnet and will go out. And roll in the snow. Howling at the universe. There may be some fist waving at the skies.

GraysAnalogy Sat 27-Dec-14 12:33:19

I've already been for one. Plus it's pissing down now.

LostyTheSnowman Sat 27-Dec-14 12:34:48

I've been, with the happy thought in my head that if I went early, the dogs/boys would have a nice run about on the beach and then I could curl up under my Aldi heated blanket stuffing my face and MNing until bedtime with a guilt free heart. Now, who am I supposed to be hating?

StickyProblem Sat 27-Dec-14 12:35:26

I'm going to see Louis Spence in panto tonight. I need to save my stamina. <munches fruit cake, smiles benevolently at MNers with the energy to type "twats">

HeyMicky Sat 27-Dec-14 12:36:54

I've ready been. Now where's my snow?

CatCushion Sat 27-Dec-14 12:37:47

I went for a walk in the dark up the side of a muddy hill on Christmas day. Went for a walk in the pelting rain and hail on a seafront yesterday. I haven't killed anyone this Christmas. Therefore YANBU. I did swear a bit about the muddy puddles on the hill

usualsuspect333 Sat 27-Dec-14 12:38:54

MN has been the most miserable place on the internet this Chistmas.

<pulls on new coat and scarf and stomps off>

MuddhaOfSuburbia Sat 27-Dec-14 12:39:23

do not speak to me of iThingies

my ipod won't sync with my pc

I paid for Bert Kaempfert's Christmas and couldn't play it

MuddhaOfSuburbia Sat 27-Dec-14 12:40:21

All Trollz No Lolz

usualsuspect333 Sat 27-Dec-14 12:43:20

Yep, the laughs have been sadly lacking.

Its all dramaz and weeping and wailing.

Dullsvilles.

RufusTheReindeer Sat 27-Dec-14 12:47:36

I've been busy this morning and I'm now sat with a lager watching Only fools and horses.

Will go for a walk when my dad, his wife and their dog turn up for "Christmas"

Who is a twat?? What have I missed??

TheFairyCaravan Sat 27-Dec-14 12:47:56

I can't walk without crutches so I'll be buggered if I'm going out in the foot 3 inches of snow we've had!
