AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves Tue 23-Dec-14 17:05:42

I think this may call for a glass of Talisker. Sadly I have no Toblerone in the house.

Bea Tue 23-Dec-14 17:10:25

Sooo looking forward to it!! Brilliant!

LeBearPolar Tue 23-Dec-14 17:13:28

DOUGLAS: So how does it end, this game?

ARTHUR: It never ends.

DOUGLAS: That’s very much what I feared.

FizzBuzzHaveABanana Tue 23-Dec-14 17:37:30

So excited!!

ZeroSomeGameThingy Tue 23-Dec-14 17:44:55

Another so excited.

(I've sent texts warning people not to phone me ...)

Cherrypi Tue 23-Dec-14 17:46:54

Woo hoo. Listened to all of them this week. Hope toddler is quiet. It will be on iplayer quickly though right?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves Tue 23-Dec-14 17:50:13

I don't know how quickly i-player gets updated, Cherrypi, but judging by The Archers I would prepare yourself for a bit of a delay. That way if in fact it's available very quickly you'll have a pleasant surprise.

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if it appears on Youtube very quickly too.

moxon Tue 23-Dec-14 17:52:30

What? Like the last eeeeever? fshock

This what the unofficial Facebook page has to say:

OK, here once more instructions how to listen to Zürich.
There will be two episodes: Zürich 1 will air tonight, i.e. Tuesday 23 December, 18:30 GMT, and Zürich 2 will air tomorrow, i.e. Wednesday 24 December, 18:30 GMT.
You can listen to both episodes via the BBC website, and yes, both live stream and iPlayer also work if you are outside the UK.
You can listen via live stream (i.e. same time as the radio broadcast) on 23 December and 24 December at 18.30 GMT. If you live in another time zone, go to www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?p1=136 to see at what time to tune in. Link to the live stream: www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_four
About an hour after each live stream, the episode will appear on the iPlayer, where they will stay for probably 4 weeks. You will be able to find the two episodes here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00lmcxj/episodes/guide… BUT looking there already now is not recommendable, unless you want teasers and spoilers.
In case you need more ways how to listen to Zürich (TV, mobile apps, or even … the radio), the chaps at cabinpressurefans.co.uk got you covered. Direct link: www.cabinpressurefans.co.uk/…/cabin-pressure-zurich…/

The last ever, moxon! He's got to Z and has run out of letters!

<also, he knew that he was unlikely to be able to keep Benedict Cumberbatch for much longer grin>

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves Tue 23-Dec-14 19:02:56

John Finnemore's wonderful, wonderful blog is here, packed with Farewell Bear Facts he's posted over the last month - one for each episode.

Just listened to part 1 - loved it. No surprise there then! fgrin

Now on tenterhooks for tomorrow.

iamaLeafontheWind Tue 23-Dec-14 19:03:22

Counting down to when its on iplayer - no spoilers please!

givemushypeasachance Tue 23-Dec-14 19:04:19

The first part of Zurich was fantastic!

But don't worry - the series won't end tomorrow because Douglas will do something clever and everything will be fine...

FrankelandFilly Tue 23-Dec-14 19:08:27

Loved it too! fgrin

FizzBuzzHaveABanana Tue 23-Dec-14 19:08:39

Eeep!

I would LOVE to see the listener data for that episode.

FrankelandFilly Tue 23-Dec-14 19:09:55

We should definitely pitch for John Finnemore to come in and do a MN Webchat. He's got plenty of fans on here - I see Cabin Pressure threads on a very regular basis around these parts fsmile

hackmum Tue 23-Dec-14 19:10:52

Just listened to part 1. So happy. Love Cabin Pressure. Is that the most perfect cast ever?

Yet so sad too - the last one ever coming up...

Cherrypi Tue 23-Dec-14 19:25:27

Got to hear it. Love how #cabinpressure was trending on Twitter.

NorahBone Tue 23-Dec-14 20:11:26

Darn, missed the 1st half and almost certainly going to miss tomorrow's, unless I time my work finish perfectly. sad

NorahBone Tue 23-Dec-14 20:12:38

No wait! IPlayer already?!? Bingo!

HermioneWeasley Tue 23-Dec-14 20:15:13

I am REELING from the fact Martin got Princess Theresa into bed! Surely he was just reading her a safety manual, I mean Martin doesn't have sex?!
