AIBU to think that if DH really loves me as much as he says he does, he would just do this for me?!

I am currently pg with # 3 and a really stinking cold! I have not eaten very much for the last few days as I have perforated my eardrum and feel all dizzy and bleurggh. Anyway, I woke up at 7:30 am this morning, starving! He asked me what I fancied to eat and I quite reasonably said a piece of the most amazing carrot cake we had on our honeymoon in NYC 15 years ago and he won't go and get it??! AIBU to think he is really mean and selfish? I mean, I know the name of the restaurant and we are staying at my sister's in Manchester, so it's not as if the airport is that far away! I should make him sleep downstairs tonight, shouldn't I?!

I've had that carrot cake and it is indeed wonderful. However in his defence, I think that place closed down around 5 years ago. Last time I went, they had moved out to Queens for the cheaper rent. So YABU.

Totally unreasonable. Has he even offered to go round all the bakeries in Manchester immediately to get carrot cake from each to tide you over (its a long flight, you might get hungrier while he's away!)

When I was pg (bad morning sickness too) with dc1 I really fancied sausages. So dh walked down to the corner shop (10 minutes away) where they didn't have any. So he came back and cycled into town to the little Sainsbury's (15 minute cycle) where they didn't have any except economy left, so he cycled out to the out of town big Sainsbury's (30 minute cycle from out house, but opposite direction from town).
He came back and cooked them for me.

I took one look, and ran to the toilet and vomited everywhere and didn't eat them.

By dc3 his response to "I really want...." was to suggest I put it on the shopping list for next time I went shopping. By the time I went shopping I'd usually got over any wanting that or anything else
