Just been for a lovely winter walk, but it was far from it. Husband had wondered off with the pram with 1 year old in it. I was walking with 2.8 year old though muddy puddles when he stumbled and ended up sat in the puddle. Husband scowled at me while turning round and heading back to the car park.
2 year old then was inconsolable because he wanted to carry on the walk but we couldn't as husband had left. I got back to the car (having to carry a tantrumming toddler) and told husband I wasn't impressed and he said it was my fault as I caused the tantrum by letting him fall over. I've said it doesn't matter what caused it, we're supposed to be a team and you don't just leave someone on their own, you at least wait a bit further on to make sure everything is ok.
2 year old was dressed in splash suit, coat and 2 layers of clothes so wasn't even damp or cold when we undresssed him.
Who is in the wrong here? Is it all my fault for not holding little boys hand tightly enough in the puddle?
