Feeling utterly crappy physically and mentally right now so I've decided to try and list a few things that make me happy.

1-I love finding little notes from DD1 dotted all around the house, mainly saying how much she loves her sister.
2-it's almost Christmas.......yay (I think I need more fairy lights)
3-DD2 finally got her audiology appointment (been waiting ages for it) hopefully we can get to the bottom of her hearing loss.
4-although I work through an agency, my fab boss (he really is fab) has told me that they will need me for at least another year if not longer.
5-even though I've not slept a wink all night, it's nice to be able to spend a couple of hours cuddling DD1 (who is a mega early riser) just the two of us.

I'm sure I'll think of other things throughout the day Grin

  1. I'm having a lie in (annoyingly am wide awake but staying in bed on principle)

  1. We will be watching HTTYD2 on DVD later, which I haven't seen, and playing a couple of new board games, and possibly going out either for breakfast or cake

  1. The above is because it's my birthday :o

  1. I'm still on a bit of a high from the other day - ran a quiz at work and used a microphone for the first time (I'm really shy and hate hearing myself talk) so feeling really proud that I managed it and everyone had fun :)

I've just survived a really stressful fortnight and my low mood is lifting and stress levels declining. I woke up today just beaming with pride and joy for my amazing kids who I get to spend the whole day with.

Oh and I love the snuggles in bed with DCs too. It's tiring when they have had bad dreams or feel poorly but whenever I wake in the night and see them next to me I just feel so brilliant and I can't help covering their little faces with kisses! :) They came in earlier to wish me happy birthday and DS spent ages kissing me and telling me he loved me. They're so affectionate, it makes me really happy :)

fuzzpig happy birthday Cake

DD2 and I bought JustDance from CEX yesterday so we will be dancing to that Grin

Our children help make a lot of the crappy things so worth it. We are lucky to have them.

My little boy is starting to talk and I love hearing his little voice.

When he wouldn't sleep in our bed the other night he kept kissing me and his dad, then said 'welcome' when we said thank you. Heart melting!
