Ask him if he is planning to join the campaign against Page 3, seeing as women's breasts are so 'embarrassing'!

Tell idiot that if he has a problem with breastfeeding in public places he needs to put himself in a corner. With the Farage twat. Preferably covered with linen napkins.

Suggest who ever it is tries having to eat his dinner in the toilet with a blanket over his head - see if he likes it.

That he basically agrees with clarages asking a bf woman to move or cover up whilst feeding her baby Angry

I've given him that one already! He says people pay for a certain 'ambiance' and a crying baby with a mother feeding it would ruin it Hmm

Sadly many do agree with him. I'd just ignore, it's ignorance.

Report
LST · 05/12/2014 21:49

I've also told him that those people with serious issues with women feeding their hungry babies should go to a place that doesn't allow children... you'd think that they'd have thought of that already really..

It's his opinion he's entitled to it....don't let it rattle you.

It is hard to cry and eat at the same time hence the feeding. So his objection is really crying babies in public well sure that idiocy does not need a response just don't engage I'd say.

It makes me so mad! Angry

I didn't even bf in public except for a bf cafe. I didn't do it for long enough. But it still grates on my last nerve!

Ask him what his actual problem is. Children? Crying? Breasts? Eating?

If it's crying babies, fair enough I don't like crying babies while I'm having my tea. Best way to stop them? Feed them.

Debating on Facebook is utterly pointless and just raises the blood pressure.

I actually wouldn't have an issue if Claridges said no under 3's, or whatever. It's not really a family place. It's the idea that the teeny, tiny flash of a bit of a breast tissue makes people 'uncomfortable' and that that discomfort is so fucking important that it must be avoided at all costs. These are people who happily operate in a society which thrusts boobs at them all the time and seem to manage.

Totally normal, I mean eating. Breastfeeding is normal. If a certain politician disagrees then he should think how was he fed as a baby it might be good if no-one had fed him when he was a baby needing breast milk and he was not here now We need politicians who understand the real world and who do not live in some fantasy land.

I quote. .. "Sorry but a restaurant should be able to set out its own policies. If they can say I can't wear a hat then why is saying women can't expose their breasts to feed children in front of other customer not allowed?...."

I might just go to bed..

Oh, I see, idiot speak.

In that case I'd just say "Well the law of the land sees feeding a baby as more important than your right to wear a trilby. I can't imagine why..."

Ahhhh I wish I'd put that.. I told him I'd share the link of banning page 3 if he's so offended.

Society has claimed breasts as sex objects and anything that interferes with this primary role provokes confusion and hostility. Most men are too stupid to even realise that breasts are for feeding infants, anything else is a bonus.

I never get that Hidden. I mean, they piss with their penis a number of times every day and have no 'ewww' factor that a sexual organ is being used that way. Is it only women's bodies that have to be purely sexual.

Oh. Of course it is.

Report
hiddenhome · 05/12/2014 22:09

Pity the same can't be done for the penis. Men should be stopped from using their urethras, as the penis is a sex object for women to enjoy. Any other thing that it does is dirty and offensive Smile

Just tell him what Farage said is illegal, so it doesn't matter what his personal opinion is.

Perhaps men should like to claim the vagina as theirs too. All women should be fitted with zips in order to remove their babies. Tubes can be inserted to deal with menstrual products.

Nothing must come between men and their sexual needs.

Women must be sanitised and plastic even if it means denying their reproductive and natural biological functions.
