They have about the same amount of calories as your lunch, mostly sugar. Don't you feel terribly bloated after that? If I have one it's as breakfast on the go.

It depends. We do home-made ones for breakfast at weekends: full-fat milk (for the kids), bananas, cocoa & some oats. Pretty healthy!

Personally I can't drink anything with that much milk but as the occasional treat blimming do it! Life is too short to not have things that make you happy.

MakeMeWarm - no, if I felt bloated I wouldn't order a milkshake :)

Why would a milkshake make you feel "bloated"?

It might make me feel "full".

I love them!!!
Went many years denying myself of them but now have them occasionally.

Frijj supreme stick toffee pudding is amazing I just don't look at the calories Confused

Unless you're actively counting calories why does it matter how much sugar/calories is in them? It's not like you're gonna drop dead from one milkshake fgs.

And YADNBU! I love McDonald's banana milkshakes personally Grin Wink

I don't have them any more as my yard ends up full of boys.

I love milkshakes! Especially in the summer. Nothing like liquid icecream. :)

I have them occasionally. They are filling though.

I like that pop song about the milkshake bringing the boys to the yard, but I'm not sure what it really means. My friend (who knows about these things) just grins and says it's a bit rude, but she won't explain why.

I love milk in all its forms. Full cream milk not bloody semi-skimmed. Milk shakes are gorgeous.

I adore them. Full fat or gold top milk only mixed with the best quality ice cream you can find. Yum.

Of course YANBU, banana milkshakes in particular, with strawberry a close second, are god's gift. I quite often have one if I'm eating out at lunchtime.

Get a McDonald's one and dip your chips in it

The only people I know who could manage a milkshake with a good lunch are larger than they might otherwise be without such habits.

I was at a cafe with dc and got them milkshake. They were really expensive milkshakes, but I thought "sod it - I will have one". That took all the cash I had on me. Half an hour later I had my purse nicked. Thief got no money - about 20p. Glad I bought myself a milkshake rather than saving my cash!!! (still a bugger I had to cancel all my cards though).

It's only a problem if you don't like boys in your yard Wink

I love a good milkshake. Yesterday in a coffee shop DD and I had milkshakes, for £2.50 each, and they were bloody Nesquick in milk! That's not a real milkshake! I like the blended ice cream ones. To add insult to injury I boycott Nestle so it was a double kick in the crotch.

Oh god EatShit, that is the most amazing combo ever! I love macdonalds milkshake with chips dipped in, however I haven't been to mcd's in bloody years!

Is your friend like 10? Hmm

Kelis explained its just something every woman has - sex appeal.

Or some people see it as yard - bush. Going down on a woman.

No Rose, my friend is like 72.

It reminds me of him in Bod. My Mum used to take me to a cafe every Saturday for a milk shake, a big glass with stripey paper straws, and the milk shake machine made a real racket.

Best milkshake ever recipe:

Some rum
Some amaretto
some milk
Some ice cream
Blend to fuck

Pour and drink. I drank 8 of those one night, couldn't understand why I was pissed Grin

YABU.

Milkshakes aren't for having "WITH" your meal! Perhaps after it. Or in between meals...but not with.
