See that's my question, when does "resting" turn into being a lazy sod?

Stay in bed.

I'm currently mnetting in the car in a school carpark waiting for ds3's match to kick off.

It's damp and misty, enjoy your lie in.

Stay in bed! It was my early start with the kids this.morning (3yo and a 3 week old) and im swapping with dh when he wakes. Iwas up at seven so however many hours he wants as his lie in, im having as an afternoon nap. Ive got the hot water bottle ready to fill and take with me too as a treat!

Enjoy!!

I'm in bed too. On call for the next 24 hours, so I'm pretending there's not much else I can do anyway Grin

Lazy sod = if you're still there this afternoon! Though I would be secretly very impressed.

Typed from bed, want toast but will have to guilt a teenager.

Just say "Hmm, think I must have a bit of a virus or something. Not feeling 100%. Thanks for letting me rest DP." when you eventually do go downstairs.

The thank you disarms and the vague viral threat eliminates any accusations of laziness.

This is what my DP does anyway. It works once not every Sunday DP.

I'm still in bed. Dh is still asleep, and both children still asleep.

Once the children wake they will come in our bed and we read for a while. We rarely actually get up before midday on a Sunday

I was up at 7.30 with the dogs. Folded two loads of washing. Put a load in the dryer and another one on to wash. Made a cuppa and retired to bed and all three dogs have joined me. DH is away and I think they like streching out on his side.

Normally they'd be agitating for a walk but while they are snoring blissfully it seems rude to disturb them.

I did message DS1 to remind him that he's supposed to be packing for his holiday and am hoping that he might make another cup of tea.

I'm in bed with a hangover. Dh brought me toast and syrup earlier and I've been wasting time online since then.
It's lovely to get a lie in, it's so rare!

I am still in bed. Didn't wake up til 9,30. Watching Sunday Brunch. DS1 has a footy match at 2pm, nowhere to be before that.

I have just got up and am going for a bath. DS is in my bed watching Stampy on you tube. I have been awake since 6.30 and have a horrible cough so that's my excuse. I keep popping downstairs for tea and food Smile.

YANBU OP. Til lunchtime is perfectly civilised. I would still be there but am trying to get motivated as I have to take DS to a party at lunchtime and my kitchen looks like something from a tv show (not in a good way)! Did nothing yesterday (unless watching back to back DVDs with DS counts) as I felt so crappy.

Think it's about time to get up, DDS are starting to annoy me. Think if I get up have a shower and then strip the bed and bring them down with me it won't look so bad...

I got up a couple of hours ago and made bacon and egg rolls, tea and sorted the kitchen out. Then we watched silly animal videos on You tube, now DH is up doing the washing and I am back in bed!

So I'm up. Well I'm showered and dressed and the washing is on, but in reality I've just changed mnetting position. Apologies for the non stealth boast, but it doesn't happen very often!

Yanbu, enjoy the peace while you can!
I got up at 5.30 with dd and now we've both got in to my bed so I'm having a rest while dd naps Smile
