is that wrong...I'm only 41. I rarely get to listen to it to due to my lodger but she's away and I just love it.

Big band, cheesy songs, being able to mumsnet/facebook without having to rewind the tele because I keep missing bits so its great in my eyes. having a glass of vino and singing along Grin

By the way I'm a single parent to a 4 year old DS with no input from wankbadger sperm doner so I rarely get out.

So AIBU????

Sounds great Grin - I used to love Sunday afternoon radio 2 - I used to go away a lot at weekends and always enjoyed the drive back with radio 2.

it is great and makes me wish I'd learnt a musical instrument but that wasn't an option for me due to coming from poor folks.

always loved the big bands.

I have been enjoying this evenings Radio 2 aswell. I was singing Cliff's '7 Little Girls' to my DD as my dad did to me when I was little!

I also really like Thursday night Country.

I have Radio 2 on most days infact, to me it feels like Radio 1 was 15 years ago and is probably full of late 30's ladies like me plus a few others that liked Chris Evans!

Ooh I love Thursday night country too however I normally only get to listen to 10mins of it as I work nights. 1 week out of 5 I get to hear it.

I always have radio 2 unless Sara bloody Cox is presenting in the mornings...I can't stand her.

The 4 year old loves radio 2 as well Grin
