It cost me £14 and was gone in 4 sips!

I just wanted a decent drink Sad

Why can't they bloody fill it up? Am I a total savage alco to be disappointed?

At that price I think I'd just shove it back over the bar and run Sad

You need to brass up! That is cheeky underfilling. They're counting on you thinking it's too embarrassing to complain. If they do that to enough customers they make a tidy profit, especially at 14 a glass Shock

Good God. Barely enough to gargle with! You are not an alco, just a disappointed punter, and I would be too!

£14 for a glass?! Holy fook!

Does look slightly under-filled BUT not by much?

I'm a few weeks behind you pregnancy wise and just trying to decide if I'd pay that for a glass of Prosecco [I adore Prosecco!!!]

It seems extortionate - I live in central London and have been to some expensive places in my drinking days.

Did it come with gold leaf stirred in?

If you have another, say "Carry on!" and give a big Grin I used to work in a naice place and people often did that as I was busy sometimes and just didn't notice. I never minded!

They should have topped the glass up after the fizz had subsided a bit.

I would definitely have asked them to top it up, there is nothing that you should feel embarrassed about. Anyone serving that to you should be more embarrassed that they didn't pour your drink properly, not the other way around. Especially as they are charging such a high price for it.

Sis was hit for £16 for a basic cocktail at The Shard last week. She nearly added out!

It also looks completely flat. I wouldn't pay that for a glass of fizzy wine anywhere though.

I can't see picture :( but by law it should be correct measure which is usually 125ml for prosecco. We run a bar and our prosecco glasses are wide. The prosecco is right measurement but looks mean because it's not as high in glass as in normal flutes. I sometimes get complaints and tbh fair enough! I don't mind explaining to folk that it's measured.

If you think it's stingy though you've every right to say so and from sounds of it you've been looking forward to that glass. Grin If it's flat also send it back, that's not cool!

Just found your pic - it looks about a cm short but would depend on glass width. I would definitely ask! If you don't ask you don't get :) I'd always replace a drink someone wasn't happy about, good service is important!

PS £14 is a rip off!

Right I've come to the conclusion that this place is a shit hole!

£300 for one night and to add to the insult of the tiny glass of fizz, I got a bloody worm in my starter.

Complained and they offered me £50 off next stay.

Am disgusted. Would have been better off staying at home Sad

I would bring Trip advisor up in conversation with them and suggest that £50 of another stay is not really helpful as you wouldn't ever dream of staying in there shit hole again!
