I have my driving test in the morning, I'm really really nervous thinking about it. I done it about 2 or 3 months ago and failed.
I really really need to pass it as I will be travelling back and forth for college which im starting next week.
Any advice?

Chill! It'll be fine. You know the stuff, you've past the theory, all you need to know is left and right. I did struggle with which was which but if you've had a good instructor all will be well tomorrowbrew. wine tomorrow!

First of all, deep breathes and calmmmmmmmmm...........!

Just try and slow everything down (well, obviously don't go way under the speed limit, but ykwim!), and breathe deeply and calmly. Concentrate on listening to what the examiner is telling you, and my instructor suggested tilting the rear view mirror just a teensy bit so that you don't just glance into it, but have to physically move your head a bit - that way the examiner will know you're looking into it.

Good luck - you know you can do this smile

All the best drivers fail first time grin

Stay calm, remember you know all this stuff (you've been doing it already) and I'm sure your instructor wouldn't let you do it if they didn't think you are ready.

Best of luck for tomorrow thanks

Just relax (a lot easier said than done!), and watch out for silly mistakes, like hesitating for too long, or blocking a junction when in a traffic jam, stop signs etc. I think it's the little things which tripped most of my friends up.

Good luck!

Good luck. According to previous threads eating a banana before the test helps apparently confused

When you are ready to pass you will pass. It took me a 'number' of attempts and although it was frustrating at the time, I am a better driver for it and recognise that if I was struggling with nerves and didn't make the right decisions then I was not safe to pass.

Good Luck thanks

Well done!!!!! I got mine only a couple of years ago and can't believe it took me so long. I love driving.

ChillySundays Thu 04-Sep-14 14:03:28

Well done!!!!

BakerStreetSaxRift Thu 04-Sep-14 14:07:47

Did mine recently. I'm a really slow driver but the nerves made all my movements really exaggerated and my feet were so heavy on the pedals I ended up speeding! Twice.

So yes, try and relax!

SirChenjin Thu 04-Sep-14 17:31:53

Ah that's brilliant - well done you!!! flowers

londonrach Thu 04-Sep-14 17:34:07
