He just can't follow the rules. I believe a healthy dose of harshness will teach him a lesson. I have two dcs and a dh who have been easy to train. This whurling durbish is a law to himself. Should I LTB??

He is beautiful, and has only three weeks ago come to love with us. My love for him is boundless but he is NOT PLAYING BY THE RULES!!!

He has made friends with all the cats in the neighbourhood. He's friendly and lovely. I may be slightly giddy in love with him x

However we have one neighbour who hates him, so of course he has been in her flat every day. I have had to but her many bottles of wine to apologise!

Awwww, he is cute. Smile

Cats do not follow house rules. They expect you to be their servants really.

We have a cat flap. It was against my better judgment, but we inherited it from the previous owners of our house, and our cat (who we had already had for three years then) took to it straight away. Not unknown though, for us to come down in the morning and find disemboweled field mice, toads, frogs etc. which he had brought back and dumped across the kitchen floor. Angry

No chance of a cat flat, we are on first floor!

You could try locking him out, but you just know how guilty you're going to feel about it later on and he's left out in the cold......

You need a cat ladder

Aw bless, what a sweetheart! I'd be letting him sleep on my bed rather than locking him out! Perhaps that is why my own cat is spoilt rotten...

YABU. You must dump the DH out the door and allow the bundle of gorgeous fluffiness his side of the bed and his steak dinner.

Tsk. That cat hasn't trained you very well, has he?

Chuck him out

You think you've got it hard OP?

My bad boys refuse to drink the fresh clean water we provide in their own bowls.

They drink out of manky puddles and any garden receptacle they come across.

Bastards.

He is playing by the rules, his rules that is.

You can't lock them out all night, he'll find someone else to love him.

Yes.

My previous cat used to visit the neighbours and sleep on their bed! Shock
