I wish I had last time I met one. It was a great aunt at DD's first birthday. Usually I would ignore politics at a family do, but UKIP and supporters need challenging.

I love the Human Rights Act. It protects all of us from unfair and discriminatory treatment, and people who mock it clearly have no understanding of what it's like to live in a country where human rights are ignored and abused.

I don't think UKIP are the Nazis yet but the loss of public trust in mainstream parties leading to votes for swivel-eyed extremists is certainly rather reminiscent of what happened in early 1930s Germany.
