AIBU to want to see this

DSs (3&1), play together so well...when I'm out of the room! I can stand outside the room and listen to them; laughing, playing together, singing, falling out, sorting it, playing apart, all happiness. Smile
I step into the room - WHINE!!! MUMMMYYYYY!!! They'll drop everything and race to me moaning that the other hit/snatched/breathed on the other (obviously the 1yo conveys this by crying at me or quivering his bottom lip rather than words).
AIBU to want to sit in a room with a cup of warm (already settling for warm) fucking Brew and watch them play so nicely! Aaaarrrggghhhh! Envy

I feel your pain. We have the opposite problem here, when dh or I are in the room they play nicely but as soon as we leave the room all hell breaks loose! Can you lurk out of sight but within hearing distance and enjoy the peace while you drink your tea?

That's what I do incog, it's completely pathetic Grin sitting on the stairs listening to them hoping I don't sneeze or cough!
Would be nice to see them though. Especially when they're laughing Sad

i sneak around the corner and take strange angled pictures so i can look at them and call myself a liar when i think they are the worst kids in the world Grin

OP I have exactly the same problem! I always feel guilty about keeping out of the way though because you're always told how wrong it is to ignore good behaviour. The trouble is, if I stop ignoring them and step into the room, even to praise them for playing nicely then all hell breaks loose!

Haha! I'll try and sneak my camera round the door next time and video it Grin

That's actually not a bad idea - I did tgat once and I guess it was a good form of praise as they enjoyed watching it back with me and we had a giggle all over again!

My problem is that they fight all the time whether I'm there or not. I wish they would play nice.
