Watching channel 4 and the announcer biscuit keeps randomly biscuit saying 'biscuit' in the middle of her biscuit sentences.

Can anyone biscuit enlighten me?

She has Tourette's.

Ruushii Thu 24-Apr-14 22:37:31

Feel free to feel a twat for mocking her.

theonewiththevoodoo Thu 24-Apr-14 22:37:39

i though that it was so that you actually listen to what she says.....

however what happened is that it fucked me off so much i turned over!

GoodEggy Thu 24-Apr-14 22:38:23

I thought perhaps McVities had planted a little gremlin in my TV to make me want more biscuits.

theonewiththevoodoo Thu 24-Apr-14 22:38:29

if she had tourettes then she wouldnt be saying buscuit

NurseyWursey Thu 24-Apr-14 22:39:10

Why is she an announcer if she has torrettes. Seems a bit counter productive.

MeYeahMe Thu 24-Apr-14 22:39:25

Oh dear. I did wonder if this wouldn't go down well simply because people aren't aware of Jess Thom.

She's great - I would link to her website, but it's crashed grin

Ruushii Thu 24-Apr-14 22:39:26

Of course not, Dr.

Except she has and she does.

KnittingRocks Thu 24-Apr-14 22:40:12

Why would she not be saying biscuit theone?

MeYeahMe Thu 24-Apr-14 22:40:13

Here theonewiththevoodoo and Nursey have a biscuit

ashtrayheart Thu 24-Apr-14 22:41:16

What should she be saying then theone hmm

YoureBeingASillyBilly Thu 24-Apr-14 22:41:36

"if she had tourettes then she wouldnt be saying buscuit"

She didnt. She said biscuit.

Regardless- how would you know how her tourettes affects her?

SilverShins Thu 24-Apr-14 22:42:09

She does have Tourette's. I heard her last year on Radio 4's Today Programme.

theonewiththevoodoo Thu 24-Apr-14 22:42:38

I stand corrected...and happy to be wrong. good for her.

However.... I dont change my opionin on how annoying it is.

NurseyWursey Thu 24-Apr-14 22:43:05

Thanks meyeah I just fancied one of those.

Nothing wrong with what I've said. I've not seen it. I'm just going off the 'she's an announcer with Tourette's'. Since an announcer er... announces things shouldn't it be someone who is able to say the sentence without their tics interfering? Or am I wrong in saying this confused

KnittingRocks Thu 24-Apr-14 22:43:30

I'm sure we all have annoying tics, just some more obvious than others.

SilverShins Thu 24-Apr-14 22:43:32

Really Nursey?

usualsuspectt Thu 24-Apr-14 22:43:59

That's pretty cool of Channel 4.

NurseyWursey Thu 24-Apr-14 22:44:07

Yes really.

usualsuspectt Thu 24-Apr-14 22:46:09

I'm sure she doesn't give a toss if her tourettes offends you.
