Should not be wearing his uniform to dig in his garden on his day off?

In fact AIBU to wonder if anyone in the magical and dangerous town of Pontypandy has more than one set of clothing to their name?

I wonder that too...No wonder he ends up working! Man needs some boundaries.

Haha, he needs to a) admit paternity of naughty Norman and b) come out of the closet and get it on with Tom.

Seriously, don't they all honk? Either they have super deodorant or they wash and dry their clothes overnight every night or they all pong and accept it as normal. Or may be their sense of smell has been destroyed by smoke damage?

I am wrong or did they used to have different clothes in the olden days pre-CGI Sam?

In one episode, Norman breaks the washer because he crams all the laundry into it in one go. Where do all the clothes come from? Confused
Another thing: who lives in all the other houses? By the looks of it, Pontypandy is quite a large town yet there are only a few residents. In the forest fire special, when they had to evacuate the town, they only needed Trevor's minibus Hmm .

Well I think you are being a tiny bit U. He's always on the scene and he keeps his engine clean - who's got the time for laundry?

Leaningtoweroflisa · 12/04/2014 11:02

Here he is doing it again! Off duty, wandering about in his uniform, going to paint, dig his garden and do his ironing. Hmm

Oh Dilys has solved the mystery - spray on clothes refresher!

wilson is it wrong I read .hes always on the scene and he keeps his engine clean' as a reference to Sam's secret cottaging / gay clubbing life?

I wondered recently whether Dilys Price the shopkeeper was named in homage to Under Milk Wood ( Dai Bread etc).

Yeah, that's totes what I meant. Who has time for laundry when living a double life? Although you would think wearing the same clothes all the time would make the odds of being outed a little bit higher?

i wonder what their insurance premiums are there

jersery you may have solved comic's riddle - no one else can afford to live there!

wilson maybe he has a wipe clean rubber uniform for his leisure activities? Grin and laundry is a code name, ditto digging his garden?

And they never ring 999, it's always specifically Fireman Sam. And they seem to have him on speed dial. All the mums do anyway. Suspect there may be more paternity issues than Norman's...

They used to ring 999 in the old series pre-cgi. That does annoy me a lot!!! Yes fines for misuse of fire service and a Jeremy Kyle show where everyone has DNA testing. I would pay good money for that DVD!!!

Fireman Sam Later, a new shocking late night animated series, coming soon, where all your weird grown up questions are answered Grin

derek aww poor Norman, he is desperate to manufacture any physical contact with the man he knows is his dad, the only other ginger in the village. He always looks so happy cuddling Sam when they are both suspended from the helicopter winch again. Do you think they offer family therapy at military school?

YY to the only set of clothes. Penny Morris (DD's first and very serious girl crush) wears her uniform to the ladies night?!

TiggyKBE · 12/04/2014 16:46

He should be in uniform when he's being plain old Pat Clifford. It's wrong.

And yet again here i am watching Fireman Sam with DD2.

Why is it when the town is flooded that there is no sewage, mud or debris left when its gone. Apart from Charlies Boat.

Where did the resturant go opposite the shop??

Why isn't Trevor a fireman anymore (he was in the original series)

And when did Station Officer Steele turn into a bumbling idiot.

Could it be that insurance is so blooming astronomical in pontypandy they cant afford any more sets of clothes?

Why isn't Norman in a Borstal? Or at least have an ASBO?!

Maybe all the empty houses are actually second holiday homes for English outsiders folk?

And whatever happened to Bella? I always thought her and Trevor were getting it on.

And surely the cat was called Rosa?

And the dog wasn't called Radar nor was he a spotty dog!

Oh my gawsh, there is a hawt new character in Fireman Sam! they have bowed to reality and introduced a coastguard who shares the fire station with the crew. Everyone in Pontypandy was giving him the glad eye...

Latest wrongness was the shocking revelation that Sam uses Jupiter for his own nefarious Peeping Tom ends, as he's just been up the ladder looking in Elvis' bedroom window...

Erm how long does this phase of loving Fireman Sam last on average??

Not wanting to derail the thread or anything but I don't think the girl in 64 Zoo lane should be sat talking to lions, hippos and crocodiles. It sets a really bad and potentially dangerous example.
