AIBU?

to wonder where the 'Line of Duty' episodes on iPlayer went?

Finally twigged this had been on, loved Series 1. Watched Series 2 episode 1 on BBC iplayer on Tuesday night, was hooked (that poor midwife police woman). Last night, settled down to watch a couple of episodes, and I notice they're all there. Start episode 2, hooked even more. It finishes, and I look for episode 3 - everything has gone, apart from episode 6! Can they do that?

I thought, things were removed....in stages. 10 pm, it's all there. 11 pm, it's all gone apart from episode 6. Have not felt like having such a toddler tantrum for a long time... Is it worth me writing to the BBC in green pen, or do I have to wait for the DVD box set?

They are sadly gone, as the DVD came out Monday. I watched it and bloody loved it. Could not get enough, then DP twigged how ace it was and wanted to watch. So we watched on Iplayer but they all said "available for x days".

I never actually watched Series 1 before 2, loved it so much that hunted everywhere, and I mean everywhere for it. Was only available on iTunes at £1.89 per episode which is not too bad. So I bet episode 6 is on there if you have access.

I'm more concerned that I am BU by having a very inappropriate crush on DS Steve Arnott!! You can anti-corrupt me anytime sunshine wanders off to calm down and remind self of how lovely DP is

Sorry they have gone but I highly recommend you pay for the DVD. Episode 5 in particular was breathtakingly good.

You were lucky the whole series was there. Normally things are on iPlayer for 7 days after being broadcast, some things keep the whole series on there until 7 days after last episode of the series. You could just wait until next time they're repeated when they'll be available again.

They all expired on the 26th except ep 6. I know this because I started watching them on the 24th and I had to binge watch them to get to see them all.

It's standard, nothing to do with when the DVD came out. There is an icon/button somewhere on iPlayer that tells you exactly when a particular programme is going to expire.

It's so annoying and makes me so cross. I had this with Silent Witness and it gave me an epic rage!

Luckily I'd downloaded 3 or 4 episodes which you can do on an iPad (I don't know about a PC but I imagine you can).

It's well worth doing that as it gives you 30 days to watch your program. Smile
