WaitMonkey Wed 12-Mar-14 19:46:32

It's gone. Not fair. I was enjoying it. sad

dexter73 Wed 12-Mar-14 19:47:30

Are MNHQ going to delete Facebook too?

GenerationX Wed 12-Mar-14 19:47:39

they deleted it - security concerns - REALLY - did the OP ever come back I only got the page 8 and there was no sign of her.

ElleBellyBeeblebrox Wed 12-Mar-14 19:48:47

Security concerns? What the fuck? Did I miss something glaringly obvious as usual...

sillymillyb Wed 12-Mar-14 19:49:28

No!! Its been deleted? I had to go do tea and bedtime and was looking forward to reading that now. Gutted!

BikeRunSki Wed 12-Mar-14 19:51:05

Gutted here too! Was it not genuine then?

dexter73 Wed 12-Mar-14 19:52:44

If the OP was concerned about her security then she wouldn't have posted on social media sites under her own name and having no security settings on her FB account.

Forgettable Wed 12-Mar-14 19:53:13

No it's not a blardy classic

Gorn now anyway

YouTheCat Wed 12-Mar-14 19:53:24

It was genuine - too genuine. A quick poke about and the OP's name, location, photos and all sorts of other info was there for the reading.

I'm hoping, despite the quite bizarre potty behaviour, that she has sorted out her security settings now.

UriGeller Wed 12-Mar-14 19:54:20

What were the security concerns? Did dark haired Peter Jones manager read the thread? I'm sure if she had she would've been pleased everyone was on her side.

saulaboutme Wed 12-Mar-14 19:55:13

Nope she answered not a once...not a once...

hope it does get added to classics. Oh well don't know what she wanted to gain by trying a name and shame about JL not letting her dd shit In her potty on the shop floor.

PenelopeChipShop Wed 12-Mar-14 19:56:23

No fair I wanted to see if the OP was going to come back and comment - just got a little glimpse before bedtime and only just down. It must have been real then!!

IDugUpADiamond Wed 12-Mar-14 19:57:25

They haven't deleted the other pottygate thread the OP started

IDugUpADiamond Wed 12-Mar-14 19:58:08

dexter73 Wed 12-Mar-14 19:59:17

She has deleted her comment on the Peter Jones FB page now as well!

ReallyTired Wed 12-Mar-14 20:00:19

The thread did turn pretty vile. People found her facebook page and were making really nasty comments. Mumsnet really had to delete the thread.

Its a pity as the thread was hilerous.

HermioneWeasley Wed 12-Mar-14 20:01:36

I wanted it to go to classics too! I wondered if it was the same woman who was frothing about "potentially lethal" marshmallows in costa.

Balaboosta Wed 12-Mar-14 20:08:15

She revealed her own surname by referring to her husband as Mr G---t in the OP...

Corabell Wed 12-Mar-14 20:10:33

CatherineMumsnet (MNHQ) Wed 12-Mar-14 20:12:17

Hi all, sorry to disappoint you by deleting the thread. We had no reason to suspect the OP wasn't genuine, it was removed as there was barely any security on the OP's Facebook page, which we felt was more than likely a oversight by the OP.

TwittyMcTwitterson Wed 12-Mar-14 20:13:57

Is there genuinely a classics section??? Where is it???

Hidethechocolates Wed 12-Mar-14 20:18:39

I thought the thread was funny at first, but once I realised that all her personal details, photos etc...were out there....I didn't really think it funny anymore and I'm glad MNHQ deleted the thread.

sillymillyb Wed 12-Mar-14 20:22:04

I am a bit confused how she could be found on fb though just from the surname of her husband (which wasn't uncommon) I need better stalking skills obviously!

Catsmamma Wed 12-Mar-14 20:26:37

I am sure I am not imagining it, but wasn't there an identical thread last year, but set in the tesco clothes dept, a bit less salubrious than PJ Curtain Dept, but I am sure it involved emails and other social media moanings
