Allowing for the fact that she git caught in the end.

ReputableBiscuit Tue 11-Mar-14 17:16:16

Got, not git.

ReputableBiscuit Tue 11-Mar-14 17:16:32

Oh god the link,

RawCoconutMacaroon Tue 11-Mar-14 17:20:39

Clever? I think devious is the word you are looking for.

Minorchristmascrisis Tue 11-Mar-14 17:22:28

Or desperate maybe?

SolomanDaisy Tue 11-Mar-14 17:22:49

Not very clever, no.

SleepPleaseSleep Tue 11-Mar-14 17:23:49

I wonder why the other children, and now this baby despite her obvious desperation to keep it, were taken off her.

Very sad in principle. But don't know background.

Icimoi Tue 11-Mar-14 17:24:55

No, utterly stupid on every front.

expatinscotland Tue 11-Mar-14 17:25:14

Clever, no. Manipulative and devious.

CloverHeart Tue 11-Mar-14 17:25:42

Clever? Are you serious?

She had three other children taken away and then stole someone's identity to try and keep a fourth despite this..... and you think that's clever? Wow.

BrianTheMole Tue 11-Mar-14 17:26:24

Thats a very sad story.

meditrina Tue 11-Mar-14 17:27:02

And now, any woman giving birth there and arriving without her notes will not be discharged until her identity has been confirmed by the hospital, police and social services.

Still think she's "clever"?

eurochick Tue 11-Mar-14 17:27:04

Clever? Really?

hellymelly Tue 11-Mar-14 17:29:24

Sad. Not clever. Tragic that she is so desperate to keep this baby whilst clearly being unable to be a good parent.

Yes clever. Clever doesn't preclude sad, devious, manipulative, illegal or wrong. I just think it was an unexpected and rather cunning thing to try.

Bloodyteenagers Tue 11-Mar-14 17:33:08

Why do you think her actions were clever?
Is this something that you think all parents who will have their children removed should do?

Floggingmolly Tue 11-Mar-14 17:33:32

She's had four children removed from her care... There's a lot of words to describe that; clever isn't one of them hmm

hiddenhome Tue 11-Mar-14 17:34:15

If she was that clever, she wouldn't have had her other kids taken from her. Perhaps she should have used her brain to develop her parenting skills rather than cooking up devious plans to avoid social services.

tethersend Tue 11-Mar-14 17:34:23

Clever, yes.

In the same way that child abusers can be clever.

ReputableBiscuit Tue 11-Mar-14 17:34:35

FFS saying that it's clever doesn't mean i agree with it

Nicknacky Tue 11-Mar-14 17:36:16

Well, using the word clever implies you are impressed.

LadyBeagleEyes Tue 11-Mar-14 17:36:56

It's identity theft and a crime. It happens all the time with people having their whole bank accounts wiped out and criminal gangs use it too.
It's nothing new and this woman could have been the next newspaper headline when her baby was found too late by SS.
Why is this any way clever?

MostWicked Tue 11-Mar-14 17:37:16

Don't see how that is clever.
The child could have been at serious risk.
