Lived in this house for a year and have a young couple living behind me (our gardens back on to each other) they have 3 young children (2,4/5) and in the whole time I have lived here I have never ever heard a nice word come out of her mouth! It's always FUCK SAKE don't do that, fuck sake you will go to bed in a minute, fuck sake don't jump on trampoline when dog is on there etc ect!

And her poor husband lets just call in pete* is currently upstairs cleaning windows while she is sat on her arse smoking and playing on phone, I'm guessing facebook as she is currently on her 8th status update in 2 hours claiming how busy she is spring cleaning and enjoying the sun in her garden!

Her child who is sat next to her has asked for a drink, so she is currently screaming Pete Pete child so and so wants a drink..... He has now downed his window cleaner and as just came and brought child a drink!!!!

And this women is currently in the process of becoming a childminder!!!!!!

She acts like the perfect mum on facebook always saying about her wonderful family and people are always commenting how much of a great mum she is, I wish they could hear her in RL and not just from her fb updates!!!

I won't but I really want to comment something along the lines of you fat lazy cow stop swearing at your young kids who are little more than babies, put down your fags and get your bloody 2 year old a drink and that Pete needs to bloody man up!!!!

Rang over will go put my next lot of washing out now

Have you just been sat watching her and her family?

Delete her from facebook if you don't like her.

My goodness you need to get out more.

Don't you have anything better to do than sit watching your neighbour and stalking her on Facebook ? You sound quite obsessed.

Many years ago I was in a friendship group with this woman that we called a witch because she would go on and on about how she hated children. She was so mean to another friends young child. It became a bit of a joke because her behaviour towards children was so bad.

Fast forward 10 years and she is now a childminder and has 3 kids of her own. She hasn't mellowed at all and speaks to her children just the way you describe in your OP.

This is one of the reasons that DD went to a nursery. Best decision I ever made.

My name is Micheal Paine and I am a nosy neighbour

I once walked past our local school playground and heard either the nursery or R teacher berrating a certain child in a completely unacceptable manner IMHO. I still regret not complaining. My dc never weren't there due to that experience - I mean if they spoke to the dc like that when the public could hear what went on in the class room...

She sounds appalling.

This is quite funny, she sounds awful but your thread does you no favours OP.

I suppose you could report her for this behaviour once she becomes a childminder.

Or, you could go down the route one of my neighbours has chosen and post anonymous letters through her door. Our street has one but we don't know who it is.

OP she sounds like a right mare...I feel sorry for the kids but then at least people like that make you feel a bit more ok about your own parenting don't they?

It's not about being nosey, I'm just spending the first day of sunshine tidying my garden and it's pretty hard to miss when it's all you hear, maybe she is just stressed and at the end of her tether..... But it's been a year now, I have never once heard a nice thing come out of her mouth in the whole time I have lived here!

I do understand that she has to get training ect to become a childminder just struggle to understand why she wants to look after other people's children when she can't even say a nice word to her own! She actually doesn't appear to like children that much, where as her husband is lovely, all you hear is positive praise coming from him. I would hate to think that people are leaving there children with her and not be aware of how she could actually be behaving around them!

As for facebook I have already removed her

You don't have to watch someone to hear them. Also depends on how low the fence/hedging is. And husband up a ladder - easy to spot in a street where everyone backs on to everyone.
And swearing - I have a friend who swears like a trooper. Still like her though. There is more to a friendship than swearing.
I find it quite funny when Mumsnetters bleat on about people 'not having a life' because they're on FB stalking. Er, you people are on mumsnet making similar comments ...
