I like the royals, I think Camilla looks like a hoot. I can imagine she'd be great on a night out Wink

Can't stand Andrew.

Be prepared for the anti monarchy crowd OP.

YANBU - he is adorable!

Prince Phillip, though? YABU, he is a bigot.

YABU. You must have an inkling of why that is, or else you wouldn't doubt it.

Yeah, I don't mind Charles. Him and wills are the only royals I don't loathe. The princes trust helped several people I know.

Did you love the way he said he wished he could be Camillas tampon? (Whilst married to Diana)
Boke!

Princes Trust is a very good thing for which he doesn't get anywhere near the credit deserved.

prince's Trust is amazing. They are helping my niece set up an animal rescue centre at the moment - her lifelong dream.

I love the Queen too.

I dont like the royal family as a whole but i think he's great. bit of a blundering baffoon sometimes but to retire and plough every penny of retirement income into setting up charites that are doing great stuff is commendable.

also the dutchy sites are truly beautiful.

hammer no i'm not sure what you mean. Bit of tax evasion isnt really good but everyone is at it.

I liked the fact that after his visit to Somerset last month and he realised how bad the floods actually were he apparently phoned Cameron and told him to get his act together. That might be a bit blunt for what actually happened but however it happened it worked. And he donated money too.

He does some good stuff, like the Prince's Trust, but I do not like the way he feels he has a right to interfere with government (did you read all the letters he has sent to ministers/government departments trying to influence their work, particularly with his own benefit in mind?). I do worry about quite what powers he will appropriate to himself if he ever becomes king. And he has some very dodgy beliefs about homeopathy etc, which I hope he never has a chance to inflict on the general public.

I think married men who have affairs are generally tossers in most aspects of their lives because they lack moral decency, honesty and integrity. I really don't want to hear the wacky opinions of such a man either - I think its an abuse of his power.

But I can't stand any of the royals, even our own Dear Queen.

King of England? Is that because England is the ONLY place in the UK - or do we all come under that banner now? Anyway -have him to yourself - I'm sure most of us are happy with the queen.

Awful, meddling, indulged man-child.

Well Will and Harry seem decent enough men and he must have played some part in that so on that grounds I think he probably alright.

The Diana thing was awful obviously but people change.

Lasting memory of Di's funeral is of Charles putting his hand on Harry's back as the went under the bridge/tunnel. Sad that he couldn't express affection until he thought the cameras wouldn't be able to see though.

I like him. He's certainly not perfect - but who is? He's made some whacking mistakes and will make more but he intends to do good, he is respectful of others opinions and positions and he takes time and trouble to understand situations and issues. I like Camilla too. She's a perfectly pleasant woman.

Pobble, it's always possible that he'll die before his mum. Wink
