AIBU?

To find the beard quiff thing that most men are sporting at the moment utterly bizarre?

I know taste is a very subjective thing but I just can't understand this look that most guys between the ages of 20 and 35 are rocking at the moment. I get that it's "trendy" but do any women actually find it attractive?

I don't think I know what the beard quiff is Blush

Well yes, it's quite dapper and can be quite refined looking.

Definitely a nice change to the metrosexual over grooming and fake tan trend of not so long ago.

Domestic I think OP meant beard/quiff combo.

Otherwise it's an awful lot of back combing Grin

What does it look like? All the men I know are clean shaven. Well except my Grandad but he certainly doesn't have a beard quiff just a proper old man beard.

There seems to be a lot of beardy/short hair types about atm. Hipsters I believe the youngsters call them.

no idea what you are talking about. Can you find a pic and post it so we can pass judgement? Grin

having always hated beards on men, suddenly I'm finding them quite attractive. It's bizarre. What next - finding moustaches attractive?! I hope not.
So, I quite like the beard/quiff combo... but I am hitting 40 in a couple of months and I think my libido has suddenly realised and I have the hormones of a teenager at the moment (hence anyone male and vaguely attractive gets the thumbs up from me, beard/quiff/stubble/glasses/not fussy really!).

Do you mean like the chap from Great British Sewing Bee?

DH has a beard and I love it. Beards are made of win.

Oh thank god it's a separate thing. I wasn't sure what a beard quiff would look like.

I love beards. I find that attractive men are vastly improved with a big beard on their face. Blush

Quiffs. No.

On the iPhone at the moment so can't paste a link but will do at home. If you google image beard quiff you'll see what I mean. Is usually accompanied with rolled up chinos and loafers with no socks. Wink

If you google or Instagram ScotStreetStyle there are HUNDREDS of pictures of beardy hipster types at events.

Just y'know, in case anyone needs something nice to look at Wink

Also DP is one of them.

It's very strange, he has always been beardy but now gets hunted down in nightclubs and stopped on the street etc.

First time he has been trendy so he's delighted Grin

Actually now I googled it, it looks exactly like my Grandad. He has had a beard and a quiff since forever. He will thrilled to learn he is trendy at the grand age of 83.
But I am going with no, not attractive.

I also hated beards but have been converted.

I don't know about beard quiffs but there's been a disturbing outbreak of Jack Whitehall-style facial fuzz amongst men I know recently. The last business meeting I went to was like some kind of Renaissance re-enactment. Just needed doublets and a few hey-nonnies ... Hmm

Re: the beard, they only suit some men. They look nice on the ones with a strong jawline. I like it when it looks good.

DH has had his beard long before they were fashionable. I think I've only seen him without one for about a week in 12 years of marriage.
However he has regular bloke hair, not this slicked back quiff carry on.

Not at all attractive. Glad so many of you like it, though - the nice looking clean shaven men will not have such a queue now!

Beards were fashionable three years ago.

If this is hot in Scotland I might just have to cut my stay in Spain short... looking good!
