Pipbin Fri 21-Feb-14 22:28:42

I'm not a mum but I came here for the TTC and IVF support, but stayed for the bitching!
I love that there is a female centric corner of the net.

AlbertoFrog Fri 21-Feb-14 22:29:25

Ooooh how very dare you grin

Welcome.

TotallyAddictedToLurking Fri 21-Feb-14 22:30:33

I'm not a mum either. Also never intend to be.

I came here when I was in an abusive relationship, stayed when I got my MH diagnosis and now can't leave grin

newestbridearound Fri 21-Feb-14 22:35:01

I joined the day I came back from honeymoon, looking for advice about TTC. That plan got put on hold for health reasons but I stayed because I find some of the threads hilarious and a lot of them really informative smile

BigPawsBrown Fri 21-Feb-14 22:38:11

I'm childless too and I love it here. So many smart, funny, compassionate women all in one place.

acatcalledchinchi Fri 21-Feb-14 22:41:15

I love it here grin I have lurked for a while and only just posted this past week, but I love the dry humour in here. Makes my day grin

WorraLiberty Fri 21-Feb-14 22:42:43

Alisvolatpropiis Fri 21-Feb-14 22:43:08

Yanbu.

I'm not a mum. I hope to be one day but even if that doesn't happen, I'm not leaving!

Fluz Fri 21-Feb-14 22:48:19

Oh my word, I wandered off for 10 minutes and here you all are! Hello!

Yes, that was my first post. I've been lurking for a few weeks and have just been enjoying the chat.

'Mum' issues aside, I agree that have such a diverse female corner of the internet can only be a good thing.

A;so - shout out to the ladies on the AIBU e-cig threads: fecking inspirational.

Alisvolatpropiis Fri 21-Feb-14 23:40:01

It isn't really just a parenting site, there are so many discussions going on at any one time that even a google search will draw someone in when they google a particular topic/issue.

Tis why I love MN. Thousands of people all discussing massive issues, minor issues, parenting issues etc.

Love it

Welcome!

JonSnowKnowsNothing Sat 22-Feb-14 08:23:17

Another who doesn't have children and doesn't want to be a parent. Totally addicted to MN and grateful for the support you get on here.

Pipbin Sat 22-Feb-14 09:05:16

Ladies, we are not childless but Childfree.
Childless makes us sound like we should be pitied.

FunkyBoldRibena Sat 22-Feb-14 09:06:14

I am childless by choice and a step mum. And do love it here.

magimedi Sat 22-Feb-14 09:08:40

Another one who is childfree - all grown up now - but love it here (mostly) for all the total randomness!

And, do come over & join us ecig smokers & vapers!
