Please, recommend me a waterproof single mattress cover

They either tear, are not waterproof, rustle or come off when my Ds moves about in bed... There must be a good one on the market! DS is 3 and just moved to a single (not child bed, a proper single, but not night-dry yet so still in night nappies.) And any recommendations on a night nappy that will fit a big/tall for his age 3 year old I will be really grateful.

My children struggled with 'proper' mattress protectors. Fortunately we have few accidents so use disposable Pampers' bedmats - generally next to pull-ups in supermarket. Handy for sleep-overs with grandparents too

Try drynights from dunelm,no rustling and they wash fab. They do a terry towelling one,a soft brushed cotton one or quilted.Ive bought in the past for a relative and recently for my son and I have no complaints x

Never had any complaints about our John Lewis ones. Terry towelling top and no rustling.

Dunelm do them for £11.99 ish. Toweling tops and no rustling what so ever, they have been fantastic. If you're worried even with a cover on, those disposable bed mats are great too!

The dunelm ones are good - I've got 2 for dd and layer them up with a sheet on top of each so I can whip the top layer off if she has an accident in the night.

Thinking about getting a Kylie one for DF, they're meant to be good.

I've got an m&s one on our bed as DS often comes in to us and it's brilliant. Really soft and not rustly at all.

He's currently got an ASDA one on his junior bed which I'd recommend too, soft towelling top and not rustly either

Brolly sheets do really nice waterproof bedding. No rustling etc the bedpads with tuck in wings are good also

yes, Hippychick. They're excellent - like very thick sheets, no rustling. For the night nappy you could try the Nappy Lady for a recommendation //www.thenappylady.co.uk (if you are after a cloth nappy that is?).

She also sells the Hippychick covers: www.thenappylady.co.uk/mattress-bedding-protectors-/hippychick-flat-bed-protectors-change-mats.html

I've got a terry towelling one but as it is only waterproof on the top I also have one of the rustly ones underneath as on a few occasions DS has wet just as getting out of bed so need waterproofing all over. It doesnt rustle with the other one on the top (though know what you mean).

I also have some things that got under the bed and keep the sheets taught..they look like a piece of elastic with suspender rubber bits on. DS'S top mattress is 2'6" so the elastics are needed

Dunelm Drynights range is brilliant. Doesn't rustle or tear, you can't really tell its a waterproof cover at all, and lets nothing through.

Hi, for waterproof washable over sheets: www.everynappy.co.uk/bed-protection-pads/kylie-sheets-washable-bed-pads
Bigger night-time nappies:
www.everynappy.co.uk/adult-nappies/molicare-extra-small-nappies
I always recommend these guys, they know everything about that kind of thing.
