Have you asked him if he wants to go? They normally are best friends again in a heartbeat....how old are they?

When is it, how old are they and how many other boys are going?

i would leave it up to him.

How many other boys? If your DS says he doesn't want to go on the morning of the party, I would just call his Mother or father and tell them why. I absolutely would. Then I would speak to your Ds teacher.

If he's 7 I'd leave it up to him

If you have an old spare mobile knocking around the house, give it to him to take with him.

I would try to play it low key & leave it to him.

I would given him the choice and at 7 years old, you have the option of asking if it is alright if you stay when you RSVP

If I were the parent of the party giver I would be somewhat upset that I couldn't be trusted to sort out any disputes or comfort the other child and discipline my child if he was horrid, which is what would be implied by giving the guest child a phone. It would be a bit of a shock for me if his mum just turned up at the door!

If it's that bad, don't let him go.

I would let your DS decide. I'd also be gently honest with the boys parents 'DS has been upset with party boy and he has decided he doesn't want to attend. I'm very sorry and hope you are ok numbers wise'
