Part of me wants to say I can't believe it. Sadly, I can.

I so belive it - it was one of those soundbite laws that sounded good until people relised the problems that is caused. This person does not understand how hard it is for some people.

Someone suggested a series called Bonus Street.
I don't suppose we'll ever see that even though it would be interesting.
I would love to know what they spend all that money on.

What an absolute arse.

Roll on 2015 - Labour have been significantly ahead in the polls for a couple of years, so given a bit of luck they'll win the next general election.

I fear it may be too late in 2015, we will have well and truly have gone to the dogs by then, if we're not totally under water already!

Indeed FoxesRevenge especially now that David Cameron has gone back on his "Money no object" pledge to help the flood victims:( surely those who have been so misguided as to believe his benefits scroungers stance can actually wake up and smell the coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Labour winning the next election will be more of a disaster than this lot staying in.

Emigration is the only answer

Labour are just Tories in red ties. The fact that no-one from Labour has come out and spoken out against what this idiot has said speaks volumes, they are all as bad as each other.

They are all as bad as each other, but at least they've got the debate to abolish the bedroom tax on the table. Fucking liberals abstained, where (in this particular incidence) is the glory in that, you're against it or you aren't. Oh yes, option c) support the puppeteers or have the strings cut.

Good point on the bedroom tax dawndonna, I suppose some of them are trying. They are just so spineless in their fear to speak out against the awful things this government is doing to the most vulnerable people in UK society.

I laughed out loud this morning when I heard the Lib Dems had lost their deposit in that by-election round Manchester way. Karma.
