OOooo first I remember was a snowman in 2010 but there may have been earlier changes. Will see if anyone knows...

I like it but why is it a rainbow? genuinely just curious.

See here where we have said:

The Olympic charter states:
"The practice of sport is a human right.

'Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play."

Quite right, we think, so we changed the logo accordingly as many other orgs have. Glad you like it.

vampyre, not wishing to step on the dainty toes on MNHQ, but see this...

Strongly suspect it is a sign of support for our LGBT friends in Russia and a bit of an 'up yours Putin'. Well, that is how I have interpreted it anyway. It could just be a pretty logo change. smile

VampyreofTimeandMemory Wed 12-Feb-14 09:54:51
