Is it possible? Don't wish to get into the healthy vs unhealthy way of losing weight but just that really. Top tips, exercise plans or straight points on how I can do that and I will come and report back to you in 5, 10, 15 and 20 days on how it has been!!!

Not possible, imo. If you want to give it a go, perhaps you could have nothing but water....

Or you could make some sustainable, sensible changes to the way you eat and live that won't make such a noticeable short-term difference but do make more of a long-term difference.

No its not possible. It's about a lb a day. Possible for the first few days maybe but weight loss slows down in weeks 2/3. Also utterly daft. Why not give yourself 2months to do it?

No.

I know the want to be slim is important, but not at the cost of your health.

It is in fact possible but it is hugely unwise and unhealthy. Sorry but I for one would not advise you on how to do something that could so greatly impact on your health. It's dangerous.

depends on how much you have to lose in the first place, if you are quite obese, you may be able to

if you are a stone overweight - not likley

Is it idiotic diet day on here or something? Confused

I've just done it in 14 days. Tbh, no exercise - eating 1 day on, 1 day off does not lead to surplus energy.

The amount of people who grace our hospitals after diets like this is ridiculous by the way.

They're shocked when they start feeling weak and dizzy Hmm severe dehydration and lack of nutrients does that to you...

Eating 1 day on, 1 day off? What the heck does that mean. Only eating every other day? Rediculous!

Well you could always leave the baby in a supermarket trolley in the carpark as I once did.
I once lost 16lbs in a month by restricting to 700cals a day and lots of swimming. I had a fabulous summer.
Then I ate a meal I actually enjoyed and got a life again.
It took a long time to put on those kilos, invest the time in their departure.

I lost 5kg in 3 weeks vomiting and being ill due to pregnancy. Erm...get pregnant and suffer horrendous morning sickness is the only top tip I have. :).

7 kg of what? It won't be fat. Most likely water and muscle.

but yes, using ADF it would not be hard
but it would not be AT ALL good for you

Go to India and drink the water. It worked for me. A stone and a half in two weeks

Then due to the recurring problems a further stone and a half in the next 5 months

You may lose the weight but it won't be sustainable weight loss and you will quickly put it back on

specialsubject · 02/01/2014 22:42

your attitude of chucking away good health disgusts me. I can't begin to imagine how those on here who don't have good health feel about it.

if you are a bit fat, eat properly and move round.

If as Custardo says you are very overweight (ie morbidly obese) then you could quite feasibly lose 7kg in 21 days, about two thirds of which will be water molecules attached to the glycogen you lose initially. Up to about 5kg of your initial weight loss could be water.

But if you have loads to lose, then you have to lose it at some point in order to move on to fat deposits.

If you are not morbidly obese then I don;t think even with teh water loss you could lose a kilo every three days consistently for 3 weeks.

Unless you chopped you head off which probably weighs about 5kgs
