I love Roast chicken but make it regularly over the year.
I need something a bit different at Christmas so Turkey it is.
I tried to persuade ds 18 last year to try Goose which I've never had but he was not having it.

I'm having chicken. Just me and DS (20). Husband buggered off nearly 2 years ago, last year we spent Christmas with older DS's family, they're away this year. TBH - prefer chicken to turkey anyway!

Chicken here too. A big free range organic one for half the price of the same sized over-farmed turkey. It's just a bit of plain, low fat meat to go with the real reason for Christmas dinner - pigs in blankets.

I'm doing a rack of lamb for three, salmon steak for one and goats cheese tartlets for the other two plus usual veg.

No-one apart from me likes a bird or Xmas pud or Xmas cake so I never get to eat a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas day.

A quality chicken sounds good to me.
