Everyone seems so young on here these days.

Maybe it's time I shuffled off to Gransnet.

Noo! Don't go.

yegodsandlittlefishes Mon 09-Dec-13 22:27:45

ZombieFromTheRealmOfGory Mon 09-Dec-13 22:28:47

Zombie is older than you and she's not going anywhere. Please stay and keep her company.

I just fee like I've nothing in common with most on here.

My baby and young children days are long gone.

Wolfiefan Mon 09-Dec-13 22:30:56

Not young.
Don't care.
Don't leave!
(Let's show these young upstarts how it's done. grin

HoFuckingHoFuckingHoneydragon Mon 09-Dec-13 22:31:38

We have to talk about babies and young children now? That's a bit of an arse.

usualsuspect Mon 09-Dec-13 22:31:40

Oh a nice cuppa tea would be lovely.

And they wouldn't let me in Gransnet you can't swear over there.

MummyBeerestCupOfCheerest Mon 09-Dec-13 22:32:05

Maybe this is a rude question, but how old are you?

whippersnapper that I am

Sparklingbrook Mon 09-Dec-13 22:32:09

There should be somewhere in between. Where we can discuss the 80s etc.

SueDoku Mon 09-Dec-13 22:32:57

Someone has to keep them in order.... stick with me and we'll form a spinter group smile smile

KungFuBustle Mon 09-Dec-13 22:33:14

My favorite Christmas sweet from the Reindeer tin. It's a one a day rule but you can have two if you stay.

I bet you're much younger than most of us! (Is there really a Gransnet? I''ve heard it mentioned several times but don't know if it's an idle threat!)

SPsWantsCliffInHerStocking Mon 09-Dec-13 22:34:04

Usual Come join me. I have tree issues.

ExitPursuedByAChristmasGrinch Mon 09-Dec-13 22:34:15

<cracks arthriticky knuckles>

I like the diversity of ages.

usualsuspect Mon 09-Dec-13 22:34:51

There is a Gransnet yes.

They have cupcake smileys.

ExitPursuedByAChristmasGrinch Mon 09-Dec-13 22:35:08

Fuck off SP

Annunziata Mon 09-Dec-13 22:35:15

I thought I was heading for gransnet

<looks at 8 month old>

I'd miss your posts, they're always sensible

MoreBeta Mon 09-Dec-13 22:35:35

I'm 50 and I know what you mean.

DCs are at secondary. I look forward to snuggling down in bed with the electric blanket on and frankly I just can't bring myself to send a text messages without full grammatical rules, spelling and punctuation.

Mind you I tried Gransnet, after all I do have osteoporosis and have dodgy waterworks but they really really are old on there and it was no better. I think I might need to join a sort of MiddleAgeCrisisNet.

TalcAndTurnips Mon 09-Dec-13 22:36:26

I have a lovely selection of tartan rugs you might like to spread over your knees?

I'm a bit oldish. SP's younger than my daughter. fsad

Salmotrutta Mon 09-Dec-13 22:37:08

Are you wearing your slanket and big slipper usual? <head tilt>

Mustn't get cold now dearie...

Bettercallsaul1 Mon 09-Dec-13 22:37:09

Also, you don't stop being a Mum just because your children have grown up - your mindset has altered permanently.
