I feel terrible before you startsad my 10 year old son was rushing to get into the car. I thought he was in, he wasn't and I ran over his foot! He cried for about 10mins then said he was fine. U was ready to take him to a&e but he said he wanted to go to school. My husband is a first aider, checked him out and said ' he's fine, I've had my foot run over loads of times!' Is it possible that he's actually inherited feet made from steel?!hmm

My mother reversed over our cat on the driveway one day. She was fine!

Your mother or the cat?

Someone I know ran over his daughters head! Honestly! She slipped in mud as he was reversing. The ground was so soft that she had no more than a tyre track and a headache.

20 years later she thinks it's hilarious, he looks like he wants to vomit every time she mentions it.

When she first told me I figured it was rubbish, in fact I decided she was one who told tall tales and kept a distance. Then I met her dad who confirmed it. My face was just like ^ shock shock shock shock

Glad I read this, 2 days ago a car sped off as I was approaching and rolled straight over my foot.. After the initial shock and slight pain I was able to casually walk home, took off my shoes wriggled my toes to reveal no damage, or much pain either. I thought for a while I was superhuman or maybe the pain and swelling would come soon after.. However no pain since and when I could not find the remote and had to get up to turn the TV on I realised I was no longer superhuman either.

I too have driven over my child's foot.

When I took her boot off to look I expected a mangled bloody mess. It was fine.

The only lasting damage is that she still mentions it now, 6 years later

My foot got run over by a packed land train once, didn't even bruise. I got in a lot of trouble from my parents though for messing around :D

I had my foot run over when I was about 12. I was with my friends and they didn't believe me because I want writhing round in agony.

I don't remember it even being sore.

I can confirm that 30 years after having my hand run over, it's still fine.

My dad did that once (by accident of course!) , i don't remember it hurting much. Now a horse standing on your foot, that's a different matter altogether. Give me the car any day of the week.

could I just add that I had my foot run over by a double decker bus and it was fine...
